Great results and confirmed dividend. The best part for me is the improvement in N America which has been a drag for a while now. With the potential of new rail contract wins the future is looking much healthier. The only negative is the potential disaster of a Corbyn government, which the way the Tories are going seems a growing possibility.

One of the things that I like about Stagecoach is the low level of "intangibles" in the BS compared to say NEX. I think that the subject of "intangibles" is greatly neglected and greater transparency of content of "intangibles" is required.

I see that Threadneedle assett
management are building stake , over 17% now, they are wholly owned by an American outfit.

Their blurb says that they are active managers taking advantage of market inefficiencies.


I wonder if they will be correct?.

Buys v Sells 2 to 1 in favour of buys but share price falls!?

More market manipulation by MM's

I remember seeing a similar pattern not so long ago when the share price was in its mid 170's the price then fell to 151p

I hope this is not a precursor to the above.

There have been several big buys recently, the recent share price rise could just be encouragement for the sellers to sell so MM's can fill the orders before they drop the price again.

Finally, a brokers note that stops the rot! I usually pay scant regard to them, but SGC seemed destined to retest 1 pound unless someone highlighted the drift beyond reason. Now I am interested in buying them.

Although I am not a day trader I am in good healthy profit with the tranch of SGC
shares I bought on Friday, to bring my average price down.

I am holding and adding to dips in the share price.

What the hell is going on with sgc, miserable ride for holders over the last 2 years.

Its on my watch list but feel it'll be some time before I anticipate buying any.

Sold some of my Lloyd Bank share this morning and have purchased more SGC. My average price per share purchased has come down from 176p to 165p.

Fundamentals of this company have not changed looking forward to interest and inflation beating dividend income over the next few years. All things being equal the shares purchased today will give me a forward dividend yield of 7.9%. Crazy!

Currently the Williams %R for this share is -92.19

Williams %R is a momentum indicator.

A reading between -80 to -100 may be typically viewed as strong oversold territory.

With the recent price action shares are trading above the Chikou. When the stock is above this signal look for upward momentum
