29/8/2016 14:24 | I would say that its most probable that Guarantee are taking oil from the assets - it would certainly explain the tax bill and the delay we've all been experiencing. Someone explain to me how else they are facing such a huge tax bill - you only get a tax bill if you have been generating sales and profit. Does anyone think that its a result of selling burgers and Coca Cola ? I seem to remember that there was a lot of secrecy surrounding the Guarantee Petroleum court case a while ago and no details emerged except ownership issues. I would say that its extremely likely that Sirius is/has been screwed by Guarantee and is/was a cuckoo in the nest. | 6cer

29/8/2016 13:12 | @6cer - barring a stitch up, what other ways could they rack up a huge bill that don't mean oil/gas sales? | minichris

29/8/2016 12:38 | Crude oil swaps. Several indigenous Companies working alongside NNPC to trade crude for imported refined products. Highly lucrative, esp with a Govt subsidy thrown in + opps to inflate the figures. No surprise that Sirius wishes to consolidate its arrangement with Taglient, buy up the remaining 50% to re-enter the midstream part of O&G. | dr rosso

29/8/2016 09:48 | Sirius still doesn't even officially recognise the appointment of Lyon, one of the top O&G business dealers in the world. | dr rosso
29/8/2016 09:46 | What makes you think they cannot raise 1.5 mill to pay off directors accruals. Maybe better strategy to raise share price to 2p and pay directors accruals from proceeds of warrants. Has Sirius ever had a problem raising money ? | 1alfi
29/8/2016 09:45 | GP Website is still live.... It's on page 2 on Google. | 1sonic
29/8/2016 09:25 | GP website is down again. How is it possible that their tax bill is greater than the cost of drilling a couple of wells? If they owe $15m in unpaid tax, their oil swap profits must have been in the region of $100m over a 4 year period. And in that time, the Ororo partners find themselves unable to raise, in effect, $2m ($15m , minus 88% recovery of costs). That we can't raise $1.5m to pay off the D accruals. That the only money raised incurs severe dilution to existing holders. | dr rosso
