..just to give you some idea what we're up against...only FOUR zones have been tested, EIGHT (twice as many) remain
I mentioned 3D . See this re Fossil Oil in the The US, reported use of 3D. I bet Rockflow know all about this

"For years, I have been looking for the opportunity to participate in an offshore drilling project for our investor base," explained Dennis Kittler, Fossil Oil's President. "The primary hurdle has been the enormous costs involved in generating deep water prospects. This is why 90% of the participants in offshore drilling projects are larger independent and major oil companies."

After 40 years in this business, Mr. Kittler's dream came true when Fossil Oil acquired the last Working Interest percentage in a 1,920 acre offshore State Tract called the North Eagle Bay Prospect in April of this year. Fossil Oil's team of specialists reviewed and analyzed all the 3-D seismic data, including the lower cost of drilling a shallow water well, resulted in an overwhelming approval to participate. As Managing Partner, Fossil created the Fossil – North Eagle Bay Offshore JV – I – 2015 ("Prospect").

The "Prospect" is located in 10 feet of water in Galveston Bay on a 1,920 acre offshore State Lease block in Chambers County, Texas just 50 miles south of Houston, TX. This lower risk Prospect lies within the prolific Frio-Vicksburg producing trend of Southeast Texas. The Prospect was generated using a 30 square mile 3-D seismic survey covering the Western Galveston/Trinity Bay 3-D area. This ultra-high-resolution 3-D data was just reprocessed with the newest 3-D seismic software by Geotrace Technologies of Houston.

HT - certainly shows the potential for Ororo doesn't it. I'm not quite sure what to make of the CPR. I struggle to think that a funder would really only be swayed by an updated one as opposed to the existing available data on Ororo - which regardless of whether you base a decision on Schlum or RF's interpretation, looks pretty compelling. But a CPR is certainly an important part of an admission doc, which would be required for any funding deal that meets class tests and is therefore seen in principle as an RTO, so maybe this regulatory requirement is the key/sole driver.

Sherl0ck - there was only one well drilled on Ororo until the the appraisal well was completed and the appraisal well was not complete when Sirius gave the information to Rockwell on which they based the volumetrics and CPR.

Handy I would rather be a tramp than be you with your rotten soul.

You could be the richest man in the world but you have nothing if you are not kind hearted and decent deep down.

It doesn't matter what you've got you lost the game a long time ago.

How you treat people in their times of need shows the mark of someone I believe.

Last seen in a cheery IP clinch with BK and GVL. Caption could've read "Ne'er mind lads, what's 100 grand between friends, it's only money eh".
And then the happy chappy disappeared without trace. Most odd.

one for you Sherl0ck...just to give you some idea what we're up against...only FOUR zones have been tested, EIGHT (twice as many) remain UNTESTED)

We haven't got a clue what's down there. and we're waiting for 'guesstimated' CPR.

'The well tested 2,200 b/d and 600 b/d of oil from two separate zones. Two more tested gas, while eight zones remain untested. Chevron acquired 2D and 3D seismic over the field.'

And that Handi is why you lost every ounce of respect anyone ever had for you. A little compassion for your fellow human beings never hurt anyone. I'm saddened that your so jaded by life you have none left.

Thanks alfi. I agree the volumetrics do appear to be based purely on data provided to RF. Whilst the 'one well' comment is in the 'basis for prep' section, it still reads to me as a statement that applies wholly to Ororo and I'm struggling to interpret it differently despite multiple re-reads. Again, if it's a potentially contentious or sensitive area I think the Board would just opt to steer well clear. Saying nothing is one thing......

I try and retain an open mind but after assessing all the available info I'm currently still sceptical that we drilled. Would love to be proved wrong though because it would mean things are at an even more advanced stage than I anticipate. Let's hope you're right, but even if you're not, we can still take comfort that we have world technical experts on the case and have clear backing of the government. No wonder the Board remain confident.

On a serious not I'd say there's a 50/50 chance we'll see our cash back maybe more, no doubt a huge cover up along with a few mile high hurdles have been in our way! What stinks about all this is the way we've been led up the garden path with rns's meetings and direct promises of imminent funding and oil production that have cost the lti near on 90% in losses in the last few years! This should and could turn around fairly sharp though if they so wish, just a waiting game now imho, let's hope it's a straight TO and a quick exit and pay cheque for us all.& Let's hope it's sooner rather than later and not another 3-4 years!
