I take back post 2670 having re-read the notices and other info.
The first suspension of 7th November was for the placing while this second notification is for a potential offer hence 10days from 21st Nov

So this looks like confirmation that, having presumably been in fairly frantic due diligence since the Sepura announcement on 4th November, Hytera are still sufficiently serious to ask for their shares to be suspended for a further 2 weeks.

For me that removes the doubt that somehow Hytera were bounced into this by the movement in the Sepura shareprice on 4th November and were never really serious - or at least if that is what happened, then having thought about it they now are very serious.

Which contains the announcement, clearly dated 18-11-2016. I can only assume that as 1gw suggests, it's an extension to the current arrangement. My translation of the notice is no clearer than HughGW's, although slightly different in places:

This is a further suspension though isn't it? Post 2619 was talking about the suspension from 7th November for 10 business days because of the placing. This one appears to be released today ("year 11 month 18 day") talking about a further 10 days because of the possible offer for Sepura.

I haven't seen any of this first hand - just going by what has been posted here and on the LSE board.

Post 2619 on the 15th has a better translation [from the Chinese] which states the suspension start date was the Monday 10th and latest resumption of trading to be Monday 21st

My reading of the link posted (translated from google) is that the suspension will take effect from Monday 21st Nov for 10days. The announcement was dated today and contains statements about updates which cannot be over the weekend as markets are closed assuming that the notice was about resuming trading on the 21st as some are suggesting. Blueblood.Not necessarily.They have until early December to bid.I think the suspension is for cash raising only plus an announced, but whether they will make an official bid before trading resumes I'm not sure.So could actually be over the weekrnd, ie rns first thing before trading next week.
