09/11/2016 15:42 | Just bought some more at 20.9p. Annoyed to just miss the lower price on offer but have only just decided what to sell to take advantage of the surprise rally in some stocks today. A couple of factors for me pushing me to the latest purchase, apart from the pullback in price: 1. This morning's confirmation rns from Hytera. First thing - it is good to see the confirmation from the supposedly interested party. Second thing, the rather tentative nature of the interest suggests to me that they haven't been in discussions with Lazard/Sepura since the earlier (July) disclosed interest. So that makes me think that either the earlier interest was a different company (who therefore I might reasonably suppose is also thinking about another look) or the earlier interest was indeed Hytera but that they have only recently returned. It also suggests to me that Lazard haven't been running a formal bidding process since July because again I would have expected things to be more advanced by now if that were the case. 2. The absence of new selling disclosures today from Henderson or other major shareholders. While Henderson could still put something in today I'm hoping they don't and therefore I'm thinking that Monday's sales by Henderson were a trading move rather than the first step in a rush for the exit. Of course I could be wrong with all those assumptions, but they were the basis of my purchase. | 1gw

09/11/2016 13:31 | what an odd board this has become. it surely is a fairly binary play: if the bid comes it will almost certainly be higher than the current price. If it doesn't, what is fair value for SEPU, and is it a good recovery play? As for whether or not the bid will materialise and if so at what level...nobody has a clue. I would have thought on a risk/reward spectrum being short of a company that has announced it is in takeover talks and is trading at 10% of its 12 month high is foolish. | mad foetus
09/11/2016 13:16 | ...enterprise value excl. any cash @ ~33p according to this morning RNS, so cannot see anything below it to be accepted and Chinese are more than aware of it ;-) | billyrayvalentine
09/11/2016 13:09 | Well if takeover is at 38p that's 100% upside for starters. Likely to be minimum 35p takeover, possibly upto 100p.So plenty of profit yo be made here. | apfindley
09/11/2016 12:36 | take over share price 25p if your lucky, thats 20%profit from here non take over share price 10p and lower. thats over a 50% loss from here ask yourself, why buy with the risk so great..keep your money in your pockets theres plenty of safer stocks out there with so much more potential up side | csjcsl2 |
