30/3/2017 14:50 | Ged, you have been off air, hope all is well. I have well dubbin'd thick skin and rarely, if ever get upset. Publish away.Meanwhile the clock ticks by and the grind towards the target just carries on. Withe the second report due to be submitted in April, once that has been confirmed, I can't see the final confirmation taking too long, at which point, things really will hot up.I was interested in the mention of processing plant on a turnkey basis. That's like a hotel being built by the developer and then being taken by the chain once they are ready. Does that mean that outstanding practical mining needs are actually physically being put into place now in readiness? As for Moz, we're halfway to requirements and have barely started. Just imagine when they have a few sites going across the combined tenement. | inbrackets
30/3/2017 14:22 | A bit of a tussle going on between buyers picking up bargains and persistent sellers at 5p. Surely they must finish soon. I suspect some are using their Capital Gains allowance for this tax year. A new tax year next week when we can put £20000 in our ISA. Better news today than last week, which I thought was just making drilling results official. We need the mining licences and today was a big step forward. I agree with you BW! There is plenty to look forward to this year. Inferred results to indicated or measured Resource to reserve. No doubt those tables were put in the presentation to show how far behind other companies we are in terms of market cap. If we were to go from resource to reserve what would that do to the MC? Scoping study Feasiility study Documents being passed by the authorities in preparation for the big announcements - mining licences I did do the figures for moz and it is a monster. I won't post them in case I upset IB again! ;)) Thank goodness March is over - well almost | ged5
30/3/2017 11:55 | Missed them having it as a "great idea" a few weeks' ago. Love the confidence in getting the financing easily. | broncowarrior
30/3/2017 07:55 | Plus mining to start by the end of this year! That is only 8 months' away....what a leap. | broncowarrior
30/3/2017 07:51 | Game time. Studies being lodged, here we go. | broncowarrior
28/3/2017 22:38 | Still lots of time in '17 Nick. | broncowarrior
28/3/2017 22:38 | Think there has been some sort of selling down as a result of the placing. The news looks good.No other explanation really, scoping study to be reviewed by RIO as well has to be good news. | broncowarrior
28/3/2017 16:47 | Agreed but share price should pick up a bit before then on news and Oman nearing production in Q4. | paleje
28/3/2017 10:23 | 18 will be sav's year | nick9013
27/3/2017 11:35 | it was indeed a very good RNS, but apparently completely off the radar still We just need some steady buying to avoid any future spikes on future RNS's | seagullsslimjim
27/3/2017 10:32 | I thought it was good too, market seems indifferent at least for now, it'll give DA plenty to talk about at the conference later this week anyway. Savannah's CEO, David Archer said: "The increased Mineral Resource for the Mutamba Project highlights its potential to be a significant producer of titanium feedstocks. In addition, this year we are seeing increasing prices for titanium feedstocks such as ilmenite and rutile, which means that it is an ideal time to be taking this project forward. "The addition of a further 92Mt of high grade resource defined at Ravene, when combined with the other three major deposits at the Mutamba Project, means we are off to a great start in delivering on the Consortium's objective of defining an aggregate tonnage of high grade resources able to support an initial mining operation for at least 20 years." | paleje
27/3/2017 09:48 | Massive announcement.... | bigboots

01/3/2017 16:43 | Hi Ged, have to confess I didn't even see the Moz update when I wrote my post, just saw the Oman one. Poor show on my part! The Moz results do look very good to me, I think RIO always believed it was a world class resource but they had other things to do, hopefully we will unlock the value that seems to be there. My disappointing comment was more around the Oman results where they didn't find significant deposits in I think 3 of the areas they surveyed. The findings in the other areas should still make it a commercially beneficial resource though. They are speeding ahead with the scoping study, that is very important to get the PFS and BFS done and get on with funding. The funding point will be where DA's credibility in the market should shine through.... | broncowarrior
01/3/2017 08:49 | DA discusses both resources, interview with Proactive:- | paleje
28/2/2017 19:15 | The Salivation Army are on there way round.Good numbers from Moz, as had been expected. Haven't listened to DAs explanation of the Oman results as yet, have been in an M6 traffic jam at the important times of the day. Managed a quick read of the RNS, and must say that I had similar feelings to BW, at least at outset.Food and sleep along with a second, deeper read may open my eyes. | inbrackets
28/2/2017 11:37 | Good for you Mike. We'll be rooting for you! | ged5
28/2/2017 10:42 | RNSes received some coverage in the Penny Stock post this morning. Loading up at these levels. | mikeroot5
28/2/2017 09:50 | The great thing about BBs is that you can converse with others who have different oppinions. I will continue to look at in-ground valuations especially now after those figures from Ravene. I will take another look at them in the moonlight hours and perhaps return to La La Land. I'm sure your juices will be flowing before the year is out. How fruitful do think they'll be? Yes I saw the tweets and your comments. :) BW - you tease. I'm sure you can expand on those comments. On reflection I can understand your comments about Moz. Looking back at the results there seemed to more emphasis there. I was beginning to wonder if there were problems in Oman or was Moz something special. My initial look at the second announcement suggests the latter. Have we all seen Figure 1? Resource to date 3.5Bt at 3.8% which we already knew. Exploration target 7-12Bt at 3-4.5% Isn't this new? Edit: No it's not - sorry about that All the grades announced today are far in excess of 3.8% THM (This is new!) Sorry IB but salivatory figures like those excite me! Help! | ged5
28/2/2017 08:40 | Looks good in certain aspects, others a little more disappointing. | broncowarrior
27/2/2017 10:40 | Not in the lull before a rugby match but 3 months now in this trading range. I find it therapeutic to look at potential by doing some calculations whilst I am waiting but I do realise that figures are not for everyone. I was hoping for some discussion or corrections and that's why I posted. Of course calculations can lead to a conclusion of overvalued as well as undervalued, which might be the case here if we exclude the potential and the quality of management. I'm aware that I fall into the trap of having a rose tinted viewpoint when I invest in a company, so doing some figures when there's no newsflow is essential for me whilst others might just bury their head in the (mineral) sands. I've found there is reason to comment whether it be charts, figures and fundamentals, potential, quality of management, political stability, weather, price of commodities or just the share price I agree with your last paragraph and of course we need more information to value the company but in the meatime let's work with what we have. For example:- From the Decemer presentation page 6, although it clearly states there is uncertainty the figures will be reached, it does state the high end of the exploration target is 29 250 000 t at 2.4% Cu which would have an inground value for SAV of almost £2Billion. Now that's exciting! | ged5
26/2/2017 14:26 | Ged, in the lull before the rugby starts, no doubt we are all waiting for an increase in the share price there rarely seems to be much correlation or definitive method of valuation and invariably seems to be a difference the reality and the should be especially with early stage projects.Mrs Mitty was commenting how quickly this year was disappearing just yesterday and yet I was thinking that we are only two thirds through the first quarter. there is much news that should be with us by the end of the next month which unfortunately we shall simply have to wait for. At that point, hopefully there will be reason to comment.Meanwhile, good set of books and tremendous review of what had been a good year, with an exciting preview for 2017 and beyond. The underpin from a supportive key shareholder and the quality of the assets and agreements in place bring an aura of inevitability to my mind as the projects develop and that time will cement the valuations in the future as real values can be assessed and priced in. | inbrackets |
