26/6/2017 09:09 | Not surprised about that BW. Early days but those grades look very good. | ged5
26/6/2017 08:43 | DA pretty bullish in that RNS and he is usually more cagey. | broncowarrior
26/6/2017 07:46 | Nice start to our Portuguese project! | ddubzy
24/6/2017 16:27 | Good cap, just not going places fast enough. I will be back in 2020. Easy money in others right now. | nick9013
23/6/2017 19:25 | SAV mentioned in Shares magazine today, it is one of their "plays" and they provide an update. They don't like the lithium acquisition but are holding for now. | broncowarrior
23/6/2017 14:23 | o/t UKOG massive OIL hit!!!! More news next week by the looks of it. Weekend press will be all over this, Politcally stable, funded, oil seeping out, Whats not to like. Can see 3-4p easy next week imo | timw3
23/6/2017 13:16 | Strange time to leave Nick with news from Oman due in a few weeks, possibly updates from Finland, Portugal and Mozambique. Also the chart looks ready for a bounce and is starting to look oversold. Why is there more risk now than there was when the share price was 6.5p? Anyway you must do what you think is right for you. All the best! Hope you rejoin us soon! | ged5
23/6/2017 12:55 | I'm out for now. To much risk | nick9013
22/6/2017 19:18 | I think this was the article I was referring to:- | ged5
22/6/2017 14:38 | Hi IB and very many thanks for your comments. I must admit I missed that bit. My eyes must have misted over! The overall picture is that there is a large sound geological area with some of the best bits in the Barroso area. There was a good article I posted some time back about brine versus spudomene which I'll dig out and repost. There's several other research reports including this from 2004:- I've also been alerted to the potential upside especially at Reigoso but google corrects to religioso. If you are referring to Slipstream, they seem to have been around since 2015 and have previously completed a transaction with Ariana. diversionary purchase - a good phrase to be used here. We don't really have much information yet as to whether it will be economical. Perhaps we'll hear soon! | ged5
22/6/2017 13:40 | Ged, hi.Interesting that the article says that Li is 'relatively rare' when many sources seem to imply that it is ubiquitous. It has to come down to sufficient economical resource that can be economically mined. Brine would seem to be the cheaper solution, excuse the pun, but then the grades seem to kick in.As far as behind the scenes activity, sometimes wonder whether smaller unknown outfits are able to scout potential quietly and over some time. Was Finland a relatively cheap diversionary purchase? | inbrackets
22/6/2017 10:15 | Thanks yorkie14. I note they say in the article 10th June "With an approved mining license on one part of the project" whereas in the more recent broker note it says "As such, and permit permitting, the first mining area at Mina do Barroso". I understand there was an approved mining licence for Imerys Ceramics but that will need some amendment for what Savannah wants to do. No big deal apparently! As an aside note:- I wonder how well Slipstream did out of this deal? Acquired March 2017, sold May 2017. | ged5

21/6/2017 20:25 | I'm hoping for a small bounce off 5p. I don't see why storage in an abandoned mine would be declined so hopefully head above 5p until some positive news. All imho dyor blah | gowski
21/6/2017 14:24 | Is there no update so far on when any significant news may happen? | airs999
21/6/2017 14:16 | Any significant move forward on any of the projects and we should see 10p easily enough. | broncowarrior
21/6/2017 12:03 | Maybe technically correct but I think very misleading. Most of us know that currently we only have 20% interest in Mutamba. Maybe the mining lease for Mino Do Barroso does need further approval hence the phrase "permit permitting" in the article. I was wondering why a current mine with all the approvals was to take so long to get into production. The summer solstice today so the nights will be drawing in and still no news from Finland. Perhaps they'll correct the labelling on the next announcement. Correct in the Decembber RNS not in the December and March presentation. | ged5
20/6/2017 09:47 | " Mutumba At Mutamba, Savannah is the project manager and is currently earning-in a 51% interest." Maybe written after trying to decide whether the Ruby or the Tawny was the better but come on Mr Potts check what you've put down on paper! | ged5
20/6/2017 09:12 | It's now on the SAV website. Interesting comments about Portugal considering they've recently visited. Well they would, wouldn't they? | ged5
19/6/2017 20:52 | Thank you! Just got in so I'll take a look tomorrow but not 3 times! :)) Use a capital H in Http, it usually works although they don't like us posting links to proactive. They must be competition! | ged5
19/6/2017 17:08 | Would not allow post but view house broker on comments on proactive investors. | yorkie14
