I don't know if you saw my post 2651 but here is the main part. Please correct me if I missed something. I did say the grades are spectacular in Greenland but I know where I'd prefer my money to be.

"JAY 23.6Mt inferred resource at 8.8% ilmenite. Mkt Cap £104.25M
Target of 90Mt- 130Mt in Greenland
Also projects in Finland - copper, zinc and nickel

SAV 4.4Billion tonnes indicated and inferred resource at 3.9% THM. Mkt Cap £26.96M
Target of 7-12 Billion tonnes at 3-4.5% THM
Also advanced project in Oman for copper and start up in Finland for Lithium."

We were expecting the scoping study for Moz Q1/Early Q2 so could be any day as Bronco says.

Well worth a listen airs999. We also have a drilling program for the two prospects in Finland to be decided about now. Not sure if they'll make an announcement but it may well have started.

Airs, imminent. June looks a long time in the future for the scoping study but it could be. 5 or so weeks ago it was 'soon'. Last week it was 'very, very shortly' - there is no translation available and this code is still being deciphered at Bletchley.

Yep, that sounds ok to me.Can expect the Moz report any day, could be a game changer. RIO will also be receiving the report and in my view they will provide support for mine development, maybe will even lend SAV their share of the money?

180 or was it 190k - pretty comparable apparently if not at the lower end of things. There are plenty of other examples who take more, do less and generate a loss. Personally, quite happy based on what has been done for all shareholders

Interesting stuff. I'm heavily invested in bluejay mining ATM where prices will likely be 25-50 within 12 months based on the purity of the ilmenite grade and quantity. But savannah sounds like a good bet to add some element of 'diversification'. Biggest copper mine in Oman in years is ALWAYS a good start, certainly at 6p IMO

BW. Hiho, but DA does take a salary, and had a bonus last year. He might re-invest the net amount approximately by buying further shares in the company when they had a placing but just for the record, we cannot say that he doesn't take an income.That aside, maybe things are starting to move.

Airs, sky is potentially the limit here. The CEO is high class, has done it before and is taking no real salary. He is a massive shareholder in the company and when this goes big he will get his riches then and deservedly so.Lofty given current price but 50p doesn't sound crazy to me given current progress.We should be moving to producer status by the end of this year which always creates a re-rate.Moz scoping study will also help to start putting a valuation around that resource.

Ged, DA said in his latest proactive interview that they have the study for Moz, they are just reviewing it before releasing.

well if you click on the main chart above right and change to 'all' dates and press 'draw' then a short term 9p isn't out of the question. (although I'm skeptical on that)

Then you'll also see a potential mirror price wise and which in by the year end may reflect the 2011 spike up to 20p

Whilst some may dismiss charting, then I personally think history may repeat itself (albeit in reverse)

There's the answer! 6p on the offer! That trade above 5.75p makes the chart look very interesting. 6.5p the next test, then who knows?

I'd half expected news this morning but it must be very close now. Although it has been known recently, it is rare for SAV to announce during market hours.

Been away the last few days so it was good to see this morning that another important document has been submitted.

Oman Block 5 updated Mineral Resource estimate

Ravene Scoping Study Moz
Mineral sands industry expert TZ Minerals International ('TZMI') has been commissioned to conduct the study, with completion expected by the end of Q1 / early Q2 2017

It must be frustrating if "the Team" are waiting for outside agencies.

Although the first deadline is well and truly missed (is that a first for SAV?)the second one still has two days to be delivered on time.

As you say, still on track to be mining on time in Oman.

Good news. Not long now and we could actually be digging stuff out of the ground on a commercial basis!Hopefully will be no delays as the Omani government has seemed supportive throughout the entire process.

Just ten working days until we pass the half way mark of the second quarter. After that date we will no longer be in early second quarter. Look back at the Final Results to see the expected news flow for Q1/earlyQ2. Some have already been announced. Some could be transformational.

A number of sells again this morning which in turn brought out a number of buyers including myself. Is today a turning point?

Let's see what the next few weeks bring! Oh hang on that'll just be the start!

Apparently a good turn out of directors. The placing was oversubscribed and the subscription went to Al Marjan - a major shareholder and Matthew King - Chairman.

I think these shares are in safe hands and will be tightly held.

My figures on the number of shares didn't add up so I went back through the announcements.

I noticed 1.5M options were exercised on 28th November by a former employee. I wonder if these shares are the ones being sold over the past months.

All resolutions passed and some shares issued. Hopefully held and not sold down.
