Breakfast being served. :)

Good morning BW,

My understanding is that DA has been in Oman and MMG has been in Mozambique this month. POD lives in Mozambique and apparantly is a very useful man to have working for the company there. So along with the rest of the team we have a lot goinng on behind the scenes.

We should be receiving news on both fronts some time this quarter. Although I'm not really expecting the big news until the end of the quarter, I suppose we could hear about any drilling results much sooner as intimated by DA in the video.

Thanks Ged. Has been a quiet start to the news in terms of "official news" but good to see work going on behind the scenes.

Well I think that's enough consolidation!

Plenty going on.

Not the best quality video but you can hear him speak about more results soon.

Earlier today:-

@SavannahRes

Fast track #Mutamba heavy mineral sands drill program for JORC #Ravene estimate continuing in #Mozambique

Prices ↑ for mineral sands and industry expert @_TZMI_ increases price forecasts and sees supply deficit ↑ beyond 2018. Great for #Mutamba

Big turn-out for mining company session at Oman Mining Expo @Omanmining in #Muscat yesterday.

All on the website.

I just repeated the words in the tweet. Following the links it does look more like registering to attend. Pity!

First full week of the year. Let's see if the rise continues.

Ged, I saw the tweet but presumed that it was a case of registering to listen to him live at the conference. You seem to be implying that it is a webcast or suchlike. Wasn't planning on going to this conference but listening in would be of interest.

It's starting to look like a nice finish to a good week. Low volume but moving on a few buys.

The decorations may have gone but I still see a bright sparkle!

Wrong as usual! (about the slight drop)

Perhaps some consolidation in the 5-6p range. A largish trade yesterday evening and some decent buys today might just push this up today.

Presentation in Oman this next fortnight and maybe news from Moz this month.

:-)

Yes BW we've had a good break. I hope you and everyone else did too.

Well that's it for this year. An excellent year for anyone buying last January. Let's hope for more of the same in 2017.

Unless there's news I would expect a slight drop next week. I use bigcharts.com and on the one year chart it looks like 4.75p is support. It's also starting to look oversold but on very low volume.

I think SAV has enough cash for the moment but at some point it will need more to get through to production. I'm hoping the newsflow will take us to 8-9p before then.

Let's hope everything goes to plan and there aren't too many of the usual mining startup hiccups!

Have a very happy and prosperous New Year!

A beautiful sunny day here in East Cheshire. No wonder it's so quiet with few trades. Offspring and grandchildren running around in Lyme Park whilst my wife and I took the shorter option of a walk along the Macclesfield Canal. Time for some lunch!

So much to look forward to with SAV starting next quarter. Scoping study and more news from Mozambique.

BW, The costs you mention in 2533 will be financed by debt and off-take agreements.

paleje, thanks for the link which was put on the website during the day yesterday.

As for the options, having spent Wednesday evening with the CFO and another respected intelligent poster on here, I think they fully deserve them.

Nothing price sensitive was mentioned (we weren't even given a clue about the RNS) but we were given the opportunity to ask very many questions (nearly 4 hours worth).

The experts advise to invest in companies with good management. From my experience so far this company has excellent management and I will add to my investment when funds allow.

Have a very happy and peaceful Christmas.
