Cheers opto. As always its easy to look back and think that I should have applied for more. But its just luck really that I got more TSB than this one. I suppose the key lesson is that Lloyds were selling because they had to, Saga was sold because they wanted to.

FWIW TSB turned out OK - out already made about 950. Not a life changing amount, but it lifts my depression a touch. Pays for a dart board and a picture of suarez

I use HL for saga and had the change returned the same day. Its not something that worries me. I mean its not as if I am losing interest on it. I have applied for 7k each for me and mrs.

Current price range would have it valued at 1.3bn, Grey market price (IG) is 1.57bn so 10% may not be unreasonable. Just hope I get enough. But I also thought that about this one. Have to be optomistic :-)

Good luck there Dr B, should prove to be more profitable than this. Although talk is of small allocations so if it is anything like SAGA it could take some time for the unused cash to come back into the accounts.

It's early days yet but the placing must be proving to be a huge disappointment for many.

You would have to ask your broker that. With most shares you have to sell them and rebuy them.
I guess part of the issue is that you have an Isa limit and its hard to value shares when you transfer in given that the price is liable to change without notice.

well well well, sure seems that new joint brokers are pushing this to their clients - could actually be in profit soon if this momentum continues.....
