Many ladies have been there more than once! I mean no doubt they are trying to bag a multimillion pound CEO and will gladly flirt there way into their wallet. Just because a frigid FT reporter doesn't like someone touching her hand ...

In 2017 as a whole, the UK’s economy grew by 1.8%.

Still weaker than many EU countries and down from the 1.9% in 2016, but not as bad as some feared.

Could be either or both leeds.

The main thing is to get Treesa out, she is useless as a leaver.

Her big moment at Davos was a complete non event, waffle waffle and little else.

The teflon coating is wearing thin.

Exciting (or is it exiting times) maxk. I think a watershed moment is coming. One that could shape the long term future of Britain, but not necessarily for the better.

From the torygraph blog:

BIG MOMENT KLAXON This is effectively a declaration of war by at least 60 Eurosceptic backbench Conservative MPs on Theresa May and her team at 10 Downing Street over the Brexit talks.

EU torn on Brexit: Cracks laid bare as France and Ireland split over Britain's future

By Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, in Davos
25 January 2018 • 12:59pm

The EU’s uncompromising and united stance on Brexit has begun to unravel after European leaders in Davos offered deeply conflicting accounts of what sort of deal may eventually be possible.

While France instantly shot down fresh demands from Chancellor Philip Hammond for a bespoke accord that includes financial services, Ireland floated the option of a “Norway Plus” arrangement that better reflects the unique nature of Britain’s relations with Europe.

Bruno Le Maire, the French finance minister, said Britain’s insistence on a final accord with favoured status for the City of London is a complete illusion. “It is a dead end. I told Philip Hammond very clearly that Britain cannot have a pick and choose model,” he told the Daily Telegraph.

Mr Le Maire said the UK cannot retain access to the single market while refusing to accept the authority of the European Court (ECJ) and free movement of...

Philip Hammond has called for a soft Brexit with only 'very modest' changes to Britain's relationship with the EU in a significant intervention in Davos.

In a speech to business leaders the Chancellor praised a call by the CBI for Britain to have the "closest possible relationship between the EU and UK post-Brexit".

He said: “We are taking two completely interconnected and aligned economies with high levels of trade and selectively moving them, hopefully very modestly apart."

Meanwhile maxk's poster boy .. Rees Mogg is demanding an end to all talk of soft brexit and transition agreements.
