22/6/2010 21:00 | What's the betting that it's just a ploy to tap the market yet again for more money.I think the company website is still under construction so it will be interesting to see what it will reveal once re-launched. | john148
21/6/2010 18:59 | after 15 years you deserve it !!, my patience went after about 11 years and sold for a CGT loss against FI oily last year, my 8K investment sold for about 200 squid. | davevanian
21/6/2010 17:43 | well well, This has jumped 41% on £500 worth of shares must be an all time record and one of the highest climbers with such low volumes, i wonder what is going on? I hold 3 Million+ shares could it be after 15 years of waiting all of the sellers have gone to sleep !! or could i be a zillionair in a couple of months?! | failedmegastar
30/4/2010 15:46 | You will find this hard to believe but i actually hold over 3 million of these tinkers, bought about 10 years ago @ an average of 7p. always had thoughts that this whould turn eventually perhaps this might be now a ten bagger!!!!! | failedmegastar
30/4/2010 14:12 | Are my eyes deceiving me? | bones30
04/12/2009 19:11 | sharw.I have been in contact with the new CEO on a couple of occasion's these last few months and the website was one of the issues I raised.I have been advised that this is on his list of to do's. When? Your guess is as good as mine. But then, I gave up on these shares a few years back.Anything the new Directors do has to be an improvement. | john148
04/12/2009 15:17 | The annual report arrived this week (AGM 22/12) which reminded me that there has since been an interim report. Looking at the latter it says: "The Interim Report will be ...available from.... A downloadable copy will also be posted on the Company's website " If you want a laugh (or cry) have a look at the website - last updated August 2005! How this company continues to exist is beyond me. | sharw
30/9/2009 10:29 | I have a feeling that this share could be one to watch over the next 12 months. I have been a holder for a good number of years. On paper lost almost all my holding. Now I feel it is a time to average down. This I will do to recover my losses. In for a penny .... Note: I do not normally do this - but Ross is worth a punt, IMHO ! ciao,tt. | tonytravel
03/9/2009 21:55 | Noted.New Chairman is looking for new Directors and new opportunities for when the economy improves.I had written off this share years ago but there might be life in this old dog yet. | john148
02/9/2009 22:06 | In case anyone is still following this and left early on Friday afternoon for the Bank Holiday weekend, the interim reults were published then. | sharw
30/4/2009 12:48 | Another set of annual results and another loss of £1m added to an already negative balance sheet. The Grande Group pull out, but not completely. As over many years in various forms we are told "The Directors are confident that a suitable potential opportunity will be put together to commence the re-generation of the Group next year". This company is an enigma. Fully listed (not AIM) with turnover of £42k and negative assets. | sharw
11/1/2009 12:51 | seems to be a stealth recovey going on, any ideas or bored mm's ? | davevanian
09/1/2009 09:26 | Wassup here then (again)? ps embarrassingly, I still hold these from 4.8p, yes 4.8 pence | philmiboots
29/11/2008 08:44 | Yes got my report.Would love to go to AGM and find out what exactly is left of company. With the likes of panasonic, sony, samsu | john148
28/11/2008 10:54 | The annual report arrived in the post today. The AGM is at 3p.m. on 22nd. Dec. at Everett's offices. | sharw
14/11/2008 19:48 | Sharw.Thanks.This is all seems a bit strange. Why continue to be listed when you have little or nothing to sell.I don't believe Grande would suFfer that great a loss if the company folded. | john148
14/11/2008 14:10 | The address of Ross Group registered with Companies' House is: 35 PAUL STREET LONDON EC2A 4UQ Also registered there is the remaining subsidiary: Name & Registered Office: SANSUI ELECTRONICS (UK) LTD 35 PAUL STREET LONDON EC2A 4UQ This is the address of Everetts, the company's auditors. The contact in the RNS, M Simon, is a non-exec. director whose main business is: As for where Sansui trades from, I think it would be easier to find Del Boy's van. Just one list that I could find on Google gave: SANSUI ELECTRONICS UK LTD 0923-226499 ("The number you have dialled has not been recognised") . AXIS 4 RHODES WAY WATFORD HERTFORDSHIRE A search on BT.com could not find it for that address, which now appears to be occupied by a golf company. A Yell.com search for the whole UK also failed! | sharw
13/11/2008 20:11 | sharw.Thanks. Are you saying try the 0207 number under M Simon's name. This seems a bit strange given it's a London directory code.If the subsidiary has gone into administration then does that mean we no longer have premises in Southampton and if that is the case, where exactly are the company trading from? How are we going to sell electrical goods etc? Off the back of a van like Del Boy?? | john148
11/11/2008 22:22 | That is the number of the GEL subsidiary in Southampton, which was put into administration. At one time it doubled as the group's office. You could try the number in the most recent RNS: Last year the report arrived in October and the AGM was 26/10/07. | sharw
11/11/2008 20:37 | TEL: +44 (0)23 8067 5500. | john148
10/11/2008 21:52 | Which number did you try? | sharw
10/11/2008 20:39 | Tried ringing the company the other day concerning getting hold of a hard copy of the annual report.Bloke who picked up phone advised Ross had moved but didn't know where to.Surely it can't be that RGP are doing a moonlight flit?Has anyone else tried contacting the company? | john148
07/9/2008 10:26 | Could it be that it was their plan to do a bit of human trafficking from HK under the guise of importing Radio's and TV's? One just does not know with this company.I don't think they have invested that much in RGP so it's a mystery as to why they just don't walk away. | john148
06/9/2008 09:31 | it's a mystery why Grande ever took this on in the first place, most of us "logically" thought it was to expand their business into the UK and also have the benefit of having a full listing in LSE. No doubt it was for something more sinister, some kind of HK transportation loophole, another few months shuld put this to rest !! | davevanian |
