adonis,
`Maybe she will come good eventually'
I keep hearing this.
Go to Ross`s website.
See the evidence for yourself.
The inclusion of Sansui products means that is going to happen very soon,NOT eventually, and when it does that will be built into the shareprice very quickly with it doubling or more in just a few minutes.

From past experience they do not care about shareholders as the holding company is what matters to them. Maybe she will come good eventually but then why not move with the wind? Better deals out there. ....and the spread....hehehe like a hore!

Ross Group
If anyone needs proof of what I say is true, then look at the way the shareprice is bouncing back. On the day of the results the MM`s slashed the bid price in expectation of a flood of sellers but that did not happen and I think that the MM`s now realise that this company that the company is now positioning itself to move forward and that is something that is now more appreciated by investors as well.Forget GEL for a minute because my feelings are that they will be sold off when the time is right. Look at Grande`s relationship with Ross. They have supported them for a long time. They have cleaned them up and primed them for a purpose. The reason I think after many years that now is the time to invest in this company is that all the evidence suggests that lift off is very soon. Ross`s new web site is all set up for the Sansui licence and only requires the official go ahead. When this happens the shareprice will fly because at that time we will have one of the worlds biggest electrical companies executing their plans through Ross.

adonis,
what you say has probably been true of the last few years but apart from the delayed contract everyone should be able to see that there are moves behind the scenes with Sansui to propel this share into a much more secure footing. This share could and probably will double on the day the deal with Sansui is announced.

I like your optimism FIDO, however, I have been stung before where contracts have been delayed then cancelled. I'll wait a little while on this one though.

Sorry for the delay but I was away yesterday. Let me get the emotional bit out of the way by saying that I was bitterly BITTERLY dissapointed and sickened by yesterdays results. One of the problems of being a small engineering company is that earnings can be lumpy, and this explaines why Ross are trying to diversify into other areas.Let me say that everything that gave me optimism is still in place and that results being historical do not reflect current trading. As the company said contracts have only been delayed NOT lost. New contracts have been put in place to fill the gap and the new sales team are winning orders in new fields from new customers.Trading in the second half therefore is much better but will not make up the shortfall of the first half. This improved performance will continue from here resulting in a profit in 2006, so looking forward things are looking much more positive and there should be more contract wins announced in the coming months.
As for the Sansui licence there was no news which although dissapointing does not detract from the fact that it looks a done deal and only needs confirmation. So the delay in profits is dissapointing but like I said current trading is better and that will continue into 2006 and as I said before when the Sansui licence is announced this could multiply within minutes and lead to a much more secure future for the company

Just had a look at the GEL website.
As I said before they have increased their sales team and have exhibited at two major trade shows so far this year with positive leads from both. They have won some very important contracts with more seamingly in the pipeline. GEL are therefore expanding volumes and profits.
Ross has also sought to diversify its business so we could get news on that.
The cherry on the cake though is still the Sansui licence. Any confirmation of that will make this fly and although the timing of that is uncertain, it does look in my opinion just a formality.
Looking forward to the results amd hoping we get some great news.

The last time i posted on Ross was years ago suggesting what may happen(since then i've been stuck with loads of almost worthless shares), it now appears that things are actually in place, as Grande want to become top dog, not just in the Far East any more,it's a Chinese thing, hopefully this little share will do something at last.

Grande have for some time wanted to break into the UK and European markets.
Ross have been tidied up over this last few years and it is my belief that they have been primed for a specific purpose. If you check out the news releases you will note the fact that Ross have been in discussions over the UK and Europe licenses. What makes this now look like a done deal is that not only do Ross have a new website sporting a selection of Sansui products but there is also a link to Sansui. Although the news has yet to be confirmed it does look like Ross might have the green light. The Grande Group are one of the worlds biggest electrical equipment suppliers and you can imagine what news of a deal with Ross is going to do to its shareprice.

"Last year they were on the 23rd Sept and they will be round about the same time this year."

I spoke to the company who said they would be released on 27/9/05.

Thanks guys, blimey, it is low with this Co. My buy came through eventually just over an hour after, also showed us as a sell due to the time difference.

At the time I didn't think I had bought enough for it to be delayed, very surprised indeed.

enewman36 - NMS for RGP is just 500 - yes, 15 quid's worth at 3p, which shows how illiquid it is. There are LSE rules about delaying publishing - if my memory is correct it is anything over 6 times NMS so if you have spent around 90 pounds or more it will be delayed by exactly 1 or 2 hours. Whether 1 or 2 depends on yet another rule which I have forgotten!

enewman36,
It depends on how large your buy order is. In reality anything over the normal market size can be delayed. It does look like the MM`s have got wind of something here, and with all the large and persistant buying of the last few days; I think we can expect some much better news with the results. Last year they were on the 23rd Sept and they will be round about the same time this year.
Things do seem to be much more positive and if we get news of the Sansui licence then this is going to fly.
