06/9/2008 08:44 | I must have bought in after, thank god.If memory serves me there have been 2 Rights issues since 93.The good thing is that this company know that they can't come back to its shareholders for more money. I guess that's the price a company pays for poor performance and lack of communication with it's shareholders.I'm still waiting for the Annual Report. | john148
05/9/2008 10:56 | The last dividend was for the year to 12/93. The price was 30p in 93 but you are forgetting the 25:1 consolidation in 2000 so that was 750p per current share! | sharw
04/9/2008 21:25 | Pretty sure that a decade ago the share price was about 30p and they were paying a dividend. Can't believe this share is still in play.Honestly don't think the Directors have a clue what to do with the company. So,by my reckoning it won't be to long before we are all put out of our misery. | john148
02/9/2008 12:43 | In case anyone missed it, the interims came out after close on Friday. What a basket case! Operating profit on continuing ops £34k, interest £265k. Assets £261k, liabilities £6,335m. It should not exist, but only does so because, for some reason, Grande and Keniworth wish it to. | sharw
09/7/2008 22:25 | Not yet - don't hold your breath - according to my records, last year the preliminary announcement was on April 30th, I received the annual report on Oct. 11th and the AGM was Oct. 26th. | sharw
09/7/2008 20:21 | Anyone received an Annual Report yet or has RGP stopped producing that as well? | john148
30/5/2008 19:30 | sharw. This is a sorry story.Like you I have held for many years.Remember the days of 34p? I could get out now but I'm still trying to work out why this company is still trading.Could it be there is hidden value somewhere amongst the dying embers? What ever happens I'm in till the end. | john148
29/5/2008 23:31 | I think it is just the MMs playing with the price to see if there is any interest. You talk of 13% but what is actually happening is that the bid price is constant at 0.75 and the offer price is being bounced between 1 and 1.25p. The last trade was on the 27th to the grand value of two pounds thirty eight pee. What a laugh this one is. I am only here because I bought years ago and my holding is now worth less than dealing costs. I hold in case I need a loss for CGT purposes. I also held in a PEP - when this was transferred between brokers and I persuaded the old broker to give them to a 'sharegift' charity - cheaper than paying the £10 per stock fee. By my reckoning this should be suspended for non-production of a/cs. | sharw
29/5/2008 19:30 | No trades yet 13% improvement on share price Something going on or just testing the waters? | daisymax
19/5/2008 20:09 | Something going on? Price movement on no volume. | daisymax
25/4/2008 07:16 | Lsst year was my Annus Horriblis in terms of shares.Reason...I believed what the company was saying in it's press releases/annual reports. It seems to me that to many companies are are now prepared to be economical with the truth or don't give the full picture.Of course, I'm not saying that is the case with Ross.Or am I? Still.Got the end of year figures to look forward to! | john148
24/4/2008 21:10 | I was surprised at this announcement given they had said that GEL was going into 08 with a good order book. I had a bit of luck for a change having sold out on Monday for at the same price I bought them at - so just down on the dealing costs. | timely
24/4/2008 20:12 | My thoughts are that with GEL gone Ross is now limping to a slow and timely end. Can't see why they don't just close up shop now and put both company and shareholder out of their misery. | john148
24/4/2008 08:37 | Thanks people for the input,we live in hope to the end of the month.... | joeall
24/4/2008 07:15 | In my opinion its never going to happen.Think that Grande will be looking for the exit re their investment.Ross will once again be on it's own. But,that may be no bad thing.Think they have a new (could even their first for many years), Managing Director.Be interesting to see how he has faired. | john148
23/4/2008 18:19 | Just had a quick read of their report. No direct reference to ross. Grande have made a thumping great loss so I can't see them investing in ross just yet, but you never know I suppose. | timely
23/4/2008 18:01 | Their major shareholder is declaring their results today (grande holdings) and presumably will say something about ross in their report. | timely
23/4/2008 11:03 | Its just ithought i read somewhere results due today, anyway istand corrected, thanks for enlighting me.I bottom fished and sold a while ago,at a small profit but still have a small amount left left and would welcome your views on the results. | joeall
23/4/2008 10:21 | Why today? Under listing rules they have until the end of the month to report and last year they left it to the very last day. But what does this company care about listing rules? It has already broken them by failing to issue an 'Interim management statement' so in theory should be suspended now anyway. | sharw
23/4/2008 09:39 | When are results due on ross, Ithought it was today? | joeall
18/4/2008 20:43 | Who on earth bought RGP with a 40% spread ? I have lost a few K but leaving monies "in" - just in case ...! | tonytravel |
