11/3/2017 11:46 | There's definitely something going on in the background here. All the gold miners have been weak but POG has been particulately weak. My hunch is that Vekselberg/Ré Anyone else got a theory re. the plunging share price? | galeforce1
10/3/2017 23:26 | And wallywoo? | bambo1
10/3/2017 18:05 | Game over boys... ?? | shaf200
10/3/2017 13:48 | Also, grb 1250 may only be to fund POX without recourse to other finances. They may still have to get a partner in. Also, POX is mostly complete. If I remember back quite a while everything was on site all it was going to take was installing and testing. It was mothballed because they couldn't afford the final build $150m was what they required at the time to get it up and running | stoopid
09/3/2017 18:29 | If gold goes much below 1200 it will be a bloodbath here and with other goldies on or near the edge | stoopid
09/3/2017 13:56 | Funny how North Korea and the Middle East playing with their rocket toys hasn't effected the gold price upwards? Are precious metals losing their safe haven status? | m_n_tomlinson
09/3/2017 13:32 | That's what I thought Wally: I cringed when I saw POG state that $1,250 PoG requirement for POX completion. (Plus the FED is currently talking up an imminent US interest rate rise, so that usually seems to somehow translate into a decline price of Gold in USD). GLA. | grbaker
09/3/2017 13:08 | Just had a look if any natural disasters are hitting the region. There is a volcano erupting but must be at least 400 km away. My guess this is just pre results jitters. They did state in the past that POX could be funded by cashflow as long as the gold price is over $1250 - maybe the market thinks debt could be on the rise again? | wallywoo
09/3/2017 11:33 | Geez guys this is getting insanely cheap imo, bought back in today! Surely good upside from here!! | laptop15
06/3/2017 12:49 | Stoopid6 Mar '17 - 08:45 - 46069 of 46072 0 0 Hmm, it's lasted this long without being nationalised, but ofc it's a risk... Doubt it. There are more communists in USA and Europe than in Russia these days! ;) Yes, it could have been Nationalised before now, but its now that things are starting to look as if everything is coming together and a lot of the risk is gone. If you wanted to take possession of this company, now seems to be the right time. If everything is coming together as most of us agree, then why has the share price not reflected that, especially when we all expect a positive report in April. Share price should have moved up before now unless there is something really bad lurking that we don't know about but the market does. Having said that, I have recently topped up my holding having lost so much, a little more won't matter. | popeye888
06/3/2017 12:47 | Meh, maybe Wally, would be nice if it did.Personally I don't reckon there will be any big reduction in net debt, just enough to show a bit of paydown/progress.POX will be "progressing", nothing useful on it until next year really.Underground mining will be the initial success story. Let's hope it is, and soon...That and an increase in fcf...... | stoopid

06/3/2017 11:29 | shaf2006 Mar '17 - 09:36 - 46070 of 46071 0 0 I'm thinking about another top up here... I'm either a fool or a genius! Suicidal, maybe? ;) | m_n_tomlinson
06/3/2017 10:56 | I think the Full year results on 26th April could get things moving here because: 1) Up date on Net Debt 2) Progress and resource upgrade on underground mine at Pioneer 3) Start of underground mine at Malomir 4) Progress on POX But at the moment gold / miners are out of favour. This can change very quickly mind, and trying to understand the forces at work with the gold price can stretch the brain power of most, especially in today's world!! | wallywoo

06/3/2017 08:38 | And Nationalisation. | popeye888
06/3/2017 07:04 | Nothing to see here for another 12 months..... move along.....Personally I agree with wally, but will still take a while, 12 months at least.POX and underground mining will need to be up and running, producing 600k+ Oz and avoiding any further bad deals like the AZ one....POG seem to have their house in order now but still have a way to go before its transformed.... If you ain't already holding I would only buy in now if you have at least a 12 month view and understand the risks regarding gold price and a buyout.... | stoopid
03/3/2017 16:47 | Stoopid ask wally. | popeye888
03/3/2017 13:10 | Down 5%ish now in the last week or so Anyone would think that gold has collapsed and the world is a nice non risky place......No manipulation here surely........... | stoopid
02/3/2017 09:49 | I think the market expects POG to do something daft. Like merge with another company that needs millions to be spent developing mines, and therefore, any spare cash will be diverted there, rather than to shareholders for the foreseeable. I am hopeful they will not and just be content with their current expansion projects, which along with an improved gold price, will restore shareholder faith and company value. Time will tell | wallywoo
01/3/2017 17:51 | at the stock exchange 1 +4 is six minus one But no one knows when minus one will happen (A. Kostolany) | seppsuess
01/3/2017 17:50 | m_n_tomlinson I don't totally disagree with you. I think there is an agenda that we do not know about. Blood may be spilt before this is finished. | popeye888 |
