I've seen people commenting they've been here for 4 years...

Compare and contrast versus other Russian/Asian producers over that period such as AAZ

it could be perfect.

we get award based on 2010-11 prices of gold and get to buy juniors at 2015 levels

you'd think someone with any modicum of sense would be diversified

On the other hand, the timing may be perfect if you have an eye on some of the bombed out quality gold and silver shares.

Assuming a positive result of course.

GS greetings

You probably fall into the same category of OXS investor as I (see Pennyfalls post above) but we can but wait and if not expect, at least hope - though as always DYOR

Maytrees,

One is inclined to think huge claim may give huge potential

The signal for verdict news has been given 49 days ago.

Perhaps news any moment.

Greetings Pennyfalls

You may be right.

Your point:
"yet the longer we wait, more sellers appear....er...!"

sadly reflcts many cos' shares today - are we all perhaps much more impatient than of old?

Often these days while there is no news, SPs of smaller cos fall.

Perhaps PIs in C21 are rather more impatient than we were in C20.

Your point about repeating and repeating a mantra is probably correct. Those who don't might be the sellers.

maytrees...

I think by repeating and repeating a mantra doesn't make it right. You're probably just trying to reassure yourself (we all are to some extent)

But like I've said before, it only takes a 30 minute look at past cases to reveal that what you say is incorrect (however much you feel it in your bowels , tea leaves etc).

And I love the logic : ie the longer we wait, we're more likely to win, yet the longer we wait, more sellers appear....er...!

I hope so, cause I'm waiting 4 years for the arbitration verdict

The longer the wait the more sellers there appear to be but the longer the wait the more likely imho a good outcome for patient holders.

'very near future' was a very strong phrase to use, especially in light of his 'end 2014' prediction. Hopefully he knows more than we do...

I think it's worth remembering that there's basically three parties: OXS the Uzbeks and the Arbitrators. (Ignoring the lawyers, of course).

It's entirely possible that small matters, being discussed or negotiated between the three of them, are holding up the announcement; or simply that RS's definition of the 'very near future' is different from ours.

It's also possible that the Uzbeks are trying to negotiate a settlement... theoretically, they might even be doing that simply to hold matters up. We have no idea what's actually going on behind the scenes!

Personally I'm hoping we'll hear by the end of this month: otherwise, with Christmas looming large on the horizon, it could well slide to mid January next year IMHO.

GLA.
