I'm back in at 34. If the shorts are closing, then this could indeed be bargain territory. Albeit clearly very high risk, if those sales are not confirmed.

I do buy into the dual source argument re Samsung. It's pretty standard industrial policy. Just got to hope they go to Dow.

The oil tanker is no longer capsizing but is turning around. Remember folks the % are inflated as we are coming off a very low share price base but its encouraging to finally see some upwards trend.

Will be back to the pre-results price soon enough. Dow now producing commercially. It was the quality of green Qdots that was holding them up. All the cadmium display makers will need to switch to cad free at some point fairly soon. Notification of Merck's factory build will soon be with us. Nano never had better short-term prospects. Someone's picking these up that's for sure.. Had a few more myself..

Quite a bit out there about TCL and the fact they have embraced QD. Also a few reasonably technical commentaries on their 3rd generation QD tech in the XESS. Nothing I have found indicates Cadmium free. I'm afraid I'm not optimistic for this TV. Maybe the fourth generation...

All buys now. Lombard Odier's discretionary client not so discrete now. This is a major player in the tech world. Buying in to the future ... today!

Can't find any cross reference with TCL Yue Cai quantum dot material and cadmium free. They talk about this material in the accounts dated 21 March but don't mention cadmium free. If they were using it surely they would shout about it??

Dow quarterly update 28 April. An announcement would fit with May time line.

Yawn. Why are those who are out more agitated than those who are in? When NANO reaches £1, you could have my shares, Onething :)

The 'investors loading up' could be shorts closing. A bit different. Nice to see shorts closing but you can't blame them after last week's gift drop. Confirmation of real long position build by RNS would be very welcome, but I think those kind of investors are also biding their time.

So many revenue channels! Let's activate just one of them. Don't let Fear of Missing Out cloud judgement here. Unless you have deep pockets and a widely spread portfolio be careful not to follow kmann's bullish advice. Nanoco is still in binary bet territory. How many times have I said this: if NANO reaches £1 it will be on confirmation of orders, revenue, etc and there will be (far more likely than now) plenty of upside from that point. You could get lucky at 30p but you might have to visit 20p first.

if their are so many revenue channels why did n't Edelman
say so at the presentation on the 4th april. I do not believe
that he could have no knowledge of orders, if they are so close.
a tv producer does n't decide overnight they want enough dots to
produce 1 million TV's, it is planned months if not years in advance

From their blog :"Samsung shared that it’s able to produce 800 TVs worth of quantum dots with one 500 L reactor per day. Nanoco’s technology is already more productive than this. Over the last 18 months, we have increased the productivity of our process 5-10x and we expect more gains on the near horizon."

So many revenue channels opening up here now. Going to be flooded by royalty payments sooner than you think.

Investors been loading up judging by trading volume last few days.

This is it guys, time to buy.

"their production process is slower the Nanocos new tech"??

You state this as if it were a FACT.

Any proof to back that up or more wild guessing?

Completely irresponsible to post out right BS.

The persistent existence of largish short positions tends to deflate confidence, but it is the action of opening those shorts that drives the share price down as shorting means selling, and often in volume. The only negative effect on the share price of shorting would be if new or further short positions were being built. Today's AT based price action looked very much like institutional buying. Whether this is shorts closing or position building is impossible to tell. It's all buying after all. But there was net buying pressure and this moves the price up as sellers were searched for.

I wonder if Hansol can cope with the Extra 50% demand for QDs this year, their production process is slower the Nanocos new tech.

Lombard Odier Asset Management holding for "discretionay" client. Something going on here. 2017 a big year for NANO imo, major manufactures starting to close up by buying oem component suppliers. Ups NANOs valuation.
