On a positive note there seems to be some progress on the bio side and incredibly there is another blog:

Perhaps being underwater here by just over 80% so far (luckily I cut my loses higher up with my main holding and just have a minor quantity left) will eventually turnaround into a profit once this side of the business comes into play? Give it 10 years or so an I might get my original investment back!

If the board are so confident about the future, I would expect them to be buying shares at what is close to an all time low price.

Fwiw this looks to have been 'engineered' perhaps to help someone offload but if so judging by the volume it failed miserably. The wee spike yesterday did not produce any surge in buying so today's drop was inevitable on low volume and no buy demand.
I could see a drop below the earlier closing low maybe to unsettle a few so i'd keep an eye on your stops. Watch for a closing low to dip below the earlier April low but momentum to diverge which appears to be the case at the mo.
Things starting to look interesting techwise...

It looks as if someone wanted to close or reduce today, worked the higher levels but the volume wasn't there so towards the close they have sold into the order book to shift their stock. A reaction to no Merck or Dow news maybe, the final straw?

Merck agm web cast available. Not even a nod to quantum dots in either of Merck or dows presentations this week. Very depressing.

Further announcement from quantum materials. At least some industry players are actually doing something rather than just talking about it once a year at the results announcement.

Nanosys website says it's them. I know they haven't always been the most reliable but they did the last generation. And no reference to cadmium free. Nanoco seem to just be perpetual dreamers.
