Canadian Zinc has today reported to shareholders at their AGM. The news release contained the following extracts which are relevant to us.

Newfoundland Lead, Zinc, Copper Exploration

While Canadian Zinc focused efforts primarily on its Prairie Creek Project, advances were also made on the Company's VMS exploration project in central Newfoundland.

The Company was awarded research and development funding by the Research and Development Corporation of Newfoundland ("RDC") to determine the technical and economic viability of developing its key deposits, and some of those of controlled by Buchans Minerals, into producing operations by utilizing a central milling facility. The concept is based on the potential that collectively, the four deposits owned by Canadian Zinc (Lemarchant, Boomerang-Domino, Tulks East and Long lake) and the deposits owned by Buchans Minerals (Bobbys Pond Daniels Pond and Tulks Hill), can be economically mined, pre-concentrated, trucked and then milled simultaneously or in sequence through a central mill.

Results to date suggest a sequential flowsheet provided the best overall recoveries. The bench-scale testing programs will be followed by the development of a process simulation and order of magnitude cost assessment model.

Meanwhile, the RDC financially supported metallurgical testing program on the central Newfoundland properties is continuing and will be followed-up by the development of a process simulation and cost assessment model which will be used to help focus on the key factors that are critical to realizing the economic potential of the base metal deposits in central Newfoundland. This program will continue throughout 2016 and is scheduled to be completed by November 2016.

I switched my vaulted Gold for vaulted Silver on the risk/reward that when
Gold goes to $1900,Silver will be at or heading to $50 (or beyond)

Just (say) 30USD would transform XAG, maybe a XAG restructuring is another bit of news flow to look forward to this year if the change in metals sentiment continues.

Can Management help sort out XAG and and sit back to watch its value soar. ?

With such a foresight maybe some genius can even figure out a solution
for Laguna.

Ive not purchased any in a month now but its always difficult getting large tranches in single trades. As a result when we get some Dalradian news flow this will react very quickly. Once I have a bit of free cash in my sipp I will however be purchasing some more next month.

Looking at the below Presentation the big news will probably come in Sept (Feasibility Study Conclusion) and Oct (Planning) with matters I expect concluded by the end of the year. There will probably be some news flow leading up to that but I can imagine MIO's paltry Market Cap wont really react until everything is in place as there seems to be no upside reflected here at the moment for some reason.

A lot of 100K orders go through. Two weeks ago a couple of 500K orders. Market makers are playing with the BID (currently 0.75) and ASK (currently 0.95) a little bit. It's all just small money but I do think things are going on behind the scenes. Someone tried to buy shares recently? Curious how easy it is to get shares at BID and ASK prices right now. I also think supply is tight.

Zinc price looks to be enjoying a solid recovery - Canadian Zinc Corp was up 20% today. Will Minco get a positive re-rating? Time will tell. Good luck all.

Market cap 3.65 million. 3.18% of Dalradian Resources' market cap with a 2% NSR in the pocket. Plus 2.3 million GBP of cash. Value of all Minco's assets effectively 1.35 million GBP.

Other than the Technical Report (within the next 2 weeks) it is really the test stoping (summer), financing (some time this year) and the feas to wait for. --> dalradian of course

There should be a set of drill results from dalradian in the next 4/6 weeks, followed by a feasability report before christmas. It could be our get out off jail card.
The next drilling program at lundberg is not planned until 2017, though there is relogging etc being studied at present.
Im not sure if drilling at moate has even started, planned i think the report said, similarily with pennines.

I think there is some great short term news flow on the way with Dalradian assuming short term means circa 6 months, I use these kind of days to my advantage
