11/3/2016 08:46 | Dalradian are expected to announce another drill result in the next couple of months and then publish a feasability study in second half 2016. Il be sitting tight until then myself, news from Canada would be a welcome bonus. | ardtole
11/3/2016 08:37 | Your absolutely right BlueB, still sub 1p which is peanuts market cap, I'm in here for the NSR and will not be selling a single share until that is reflected in the share price plus existing cash, ie circa 4p in my view. | lendmeafiver
10/3/2016 21:35 | The most recent news from CZN concerns their Prairie Creek project, it is a seperate project that minco and czn are exploring the possibility of sharing facilities. | ardtole
10/3/2016 21:25 | Fiver we are sub 1p, I don`t think the market has exactly woken up yet! There is something happening now with Canadian Zinc Corporation. What I`d like to know is why was the market here in London not informed of this news. No wonder shares are being snapped up. They are holding back news i suspect. hxxp://www.canadianz hxxp://www.canadianz | bluebell1
10/3/2016 21:09 | 300k MIO shrs taken today, 1628hrs @ 0.9925p.....someone got in for a good amount at just under the 1p. f | fillipe
10/3/2016 18:55 | Some excellent analysis of the NSR value above, as you say all very prudent, well done, I think the market is waking up to this one | lendmeafiver
10/3/2016 16:56 | True. Any available shares right now seem to be getting bought. Certainly looking good right now for sure. | djb3
10/3/2016 16:02 | i think the buys only total about £10,000. Shows how rapidly the price could move if there is a genuinely significant weight of buys. | lfc4ever
10/3/2016 15:42 | Somebody know something here? Buys continuing on big spreads. | djb3
10/3/2016 14:31 | Well calculated JD75, Unfortunately "shares is like wimin" you might get to 90% but you will never understand them 100%. Minco is a very good gamble because there is practically no downside at this stage. I bought a Mio at 2 to 3p a few years ago. I've bought much more since they fell below 1p so if they reach 3p again I'll be happy. I'll be twice as happy when they do a deal on any of their projects. 3p will look very little at that stage. | marthy
10/3/2016 13:34 | Yeah agreed. | djb3
10/3/2016 13:10 | an offer price 35% higher than the bid is hardly encouraging liquidity here. | lfc4ever
10/3/2016 12:18 | Calculating the Net Present Value on the Curraghinalt 2% NSR royalty. -Conservative gold price: USD 1100 -Conservative discount factor: 8% -I used average gold production of 162,000 ounces per year over 18 year period NSR turnover per year: USD 3,564,000 NSR turnover minus smelter costs: USD USD 3,456,080 (conservative) Future Value (FV): USD 62,227,440 Present Value (PV): USD 32,339,364 Since production is at least 3 years out, I assume a CAPEX of USD 4,000,000. This accounts for 4 years of spending 1,000,000 (general & administrative cost) This gives a Net Present Value of USD 28,399,364 (8% discount factor!!) This gives a Net Present Value of GBP 19,879,554 (8% discount factor!!) Companies like Franco-Nevada are valued at 1x their NPV's. Smaller companies are valued between 0.5-0.75 their NPV. Let remain overly conservative and say that such a royalty is valued at 0.30x their NPV 0.3 * 19,879,554 = GBP 5,963,866 To get to a Minco value I add GBP 1,500,000 cash, and GBP 1,000,000 for Woodstock and Buchans combined. This gives a very very very conservative Minco valuation of GBP 8,463,866. On a per share basis (8,463,866 / 478,200,000 = 0.0177 This means that the current share price of 0.0075 has a minimum 136% upside | jdgeus75
10/3/2016 12:06 | Agreed. What I also find strange...why would anyone buy shares at 1.07 if the ASK price is 0.80? I know the market markers are not always providing shares at 0.80 when you bid on it, but they are obliged to deliver shares when you order =<50.000 | jdgeus75
09/3/2016 17:20 | Is it just me that finds it amazing this ever went to court? | lendmeafiver
09/3/2016 17:14 | "At times during his evidence I found Mr Kearney to be agitated, ill-tempered and visibly irritated........... "I find that the minimum dilution representation was "material", in the sense that it was capable of influencing a reasonable person in deciding whether to purchase or to retain shares in Minco." So for those of us who bought before the "the bombshell announcement on 13 July 2011", did not take part in the placing or have private lunch meetings .......... | sallad3
09/3/2016 16:18 | Now here is what the High Court really said ! www.bailii.org/ew/ca | sallad3
07/3/2016 17:00 | Dalradian up again today, must be circa £100m market cap?! considering we have a 2% NSR over Dalradians core asset that is the fundamental part of that valuation isn't MIO's £3m market cap getting ridiculous, MIO has cash reserves, no debt, just a matter of time before something happens here. | lendmeafiver
07/3/2016 13:36 | No harm to have that bit of a nuisence out of the way. Things are looking good on all fronts. Any bit of good news about any of our projects should put the share price on a proper rating. This might just be the week for something spectacular with the PDAC on over in Toronto until Wed. Kearney (busy man) and a few of our directors live there so they are bound to be throwing out some bait. Keep the laptop turned on. | marthy
07/3/2016 12:50 | This morning does at least illustrate what a small amount of volume can do to this stock, will be fireworks when some real news occurs, in the meantime I expect a steady tick up as newsflow from Dalradian comes out over the course of this year | lendmeafiver
07/3/2016 12:36 | I suspect the judgment will make interesting reading. It will shortly be public. | sallad3
07/3/2016 10:55 | Now that the P&D is over this can get back to its steady recovery. Yes it should be north of 2p but the market is what it is. Today's RNS would have burnt the shorts, they will not be too keen to be here again especially with the potential and strong position Minco is now finding itself in. | bluebell1
07/3/2016 10:45 | To be honest im trying to be very conservative by saying 2p+, i didnt want to mention it in here incase others think it is just hot air but i would as others have already talked about it, i fully expect mio to be around the 4-5p mark this year especially with all that they have going on.. 2p will be looked back on as a bargin... | sm9
07/3/2016 10:27 | Dalradian alone must be worth north of £10m, looking at the gold price and Dalradians share price we are overdue a re-rating on that matter alone, im sure that within 12 months you will look back at this and say anything under 2p (just £8ish market cap) was a bargain, market cap is circa £3m currently! Dalradian should get this into the 2s and 3s. If silver still continues to strengthen then even Xtierra could be worth something. | lendmeafiver |
