Thanks lendmeafiver, sounds like a really good investment opportunity to me so will look to buy in here here next week. Very undervalued considering is cash situation and opportunities coming there way :))

Zero debt, cash in bank plus near cash of circa 70% of market cap.

silver assets are through part ownership of Xtierra not in production but assets now viable.

In my view the real value is in the Dalradian gold mine NSR, which in mosts view is worth at least double the current market cap alone, excellent high grade gold mine at relatively advanced stage, check out Dalradian website for presentations and timelines.

Also zinc and manganese assets, all on minco website and worth a read as are brokers notes also listed above, last target price although a few years old now of 6p but there is a view and likelihood that decent Dalradian newsflow this year will be trigger for a re-rating.

Hi guys, just been reading about minco from the news reel. Whats the story with the silver side of the business? Are they mining yet or still exploring?Good to see they have a good cash holding and reasonable about of assets...do they have any debt?

News regarding xtierras immediate future should be due soon, pacific road, the other major investor in xag along with minco suggested they were looking a return on their recent finance payments to keep them afloat.
Obviously news from dalradian is expected soon, bar that none of mincos direct projects have much to offer in the short term.
All eyes on dalradian in coming months.

I think we are. A bit of news flow and this will be £10m+ market cap again within a few hours trading in my views given the lack of stock around.

Every Friday a ''big'' transaction in the last minute before close. Today 500K shares. Look at volume on each Friday in the last 4/5 weeks.

Some very large buys over at Dalradian over the last week, confidence gaining over there, good for MIO.

I even checked out the zinc price today, looking good also.

Would like to see Beaufort Securities re-state a target price on this also, 6p is the last one I've found but is a few years old now.

So market cap is still circa 75% backed up by cash or near cash resources.

Even at current burn rates cash gets the company through and beyond Dalradian NSR point which is what this is all about.

Minco will have approx USD 3.2 million of working capital by now. Even though I like that, I do not like them burning USD 400K every 3 months and what do we as shareholders get back for that? A company in this silent mode should not be spending more than USD 500K per year. Since Xtierra went up again the 30 million shares Minco owns at today's prices are worth CAD 2.25 million which is USD 1.71 million. Adding that to the working capital (not including Xtierra) gives a nice USD 4.91 million treasury which is worth 3.78 million GBP or 0.0079 per Minco share. Of course or real value is in the 2% Dalradian NSR. I have provided those value calculations before.

If Xtierra continues to strengthen this week then another re-rating can't be far away here also. This should surely be a minimum of £10m market cap now given cash, xtierra and Dalradian.

Xtierra up to 7 cents now, mio never looked like drifting back below 1p at all this week either, looking good.

I have asked this before and someone knew the answer but I'm pretty sure their silver assets are now viable and of value with silver back at 20, all good news but the biggy this year must be dalradian newsflow as that could be cash flow generating within a fairly short time period.

Gold 1375 already, some certainty at Dalradian later this year and this will surely be worth 3p+ overnight?

The market markers are going to have to lift this another 50% at least to get some liquidity going here, stalemate at the moment, some newsflow here or at Dalradian will be the trigger for that I expect.

Very typical again. Small sell at 94p while bid is at 100p. What is the benefit of a market maker to show a share price of 94 while the bid is at 100?

With gold up at 1350 from 1200 recently, our royalty turnover will increase by USD 500.000 per year. 165.000 oz gold per year * $1350 = USD 222.75 million. 2% of that is $4.45 million per year minus some smelter costs

I believe we have gone through the £5m market cap barrier, still such amazing value here with gold and silver heading north.
