Maybe when gold goes back through the $1,300 barrier and beyond the market will realise we have a 2% NSR over one of the most exciting and advanced new mines that must be worth £10m plus compared to MIO market cap of circa £3m.

Zinc stocks dropping,dropping,dropping. Almost 40,000 tons down in less than 3 weeks from over 1/2 million tons to 467,850. Just now Zinc and Lead are both about $1840/ton and rising quickly. They were supposed to be drilling the Moate prospect by St Paddy's Day (17th). Should be a lot of news on many fronts coming out very soon.

6p would certainly transform my sipp to the point I wouldnt care what osbornes pension plans are.

Very conservative numbers lendmeafiver, but you may well be right. But still 7X I would take that too!
Its these dull boring shares that do nothing for ages that repay in multiples in the end.

Woodstock £5m, Dalradian £12m, Cash & Other £3m = £20m, hardly the stuff of dreams is it, but that's circa 7X current value, id take that.

Plenty of shares available in small amounts for the small time investor. As soon as volumes pick up you can say good bye to sub 1p even sub 2p for that matter.
The way I see it the Dalradian investment more than covers the market cap so everything else is free. (In fact the cash covers the Mcap alone!)
Just think what the market cap would be if a bid comes in for one of the mines. I would expect a deal to be done for Woodstock for in or around 15 - 20 million maybe a tad less if they keep a royalty stake. either way it would make this a 10X - 20X bagger at the current share price.

That would make the Dalradian value alone circa 6 times the current share price with everything else free additional upside, plus a bit of cash in the bank, that's not bad, best to add here as the share price is slowly picking up towards 1p.

Dalradian investment does seem to be our big play at present. I would be surprised if they considered selling their stake at this early stage, depending on results from moate and pennines the income could be used to further explore these properties.
I still wouldnt rule out a deal on woodstock or buchans at some stage this year, surely more than the chinese companies will be interested in the woodstock project.

Yes 10 million is just over 3 years royalty payments. Too low in my opinion, should be closer to 18 million on a 6x roe model.
Does go to show how much value is here though!

Dalradian share price rising nicely again, eventually the market will have to re-rate MIO also to reflect value of the 2% NSR

Surely Dalradian worth something closer to £10m, in any case given current market cap is £3m it illustrates the minimum upside here.

Dalradian deal if it happens will be important to mio. What could we get if we put our 2% of dalr revenue on the market. Should fetch 4 or 5 million stg.

I would think we would be more likely to hear from buchans next, possibly in march. An update from pennines is probably due after that, it is hard to guage when we will hear from either woodstock or xtierra.

Can't see this going any lower now with zinc prices continuing to rise. Tempted to top up. Hopefully the moate drilling will be started shortly

Where are they finding all zinc stocks, up another 40,000 tons a few days ago. That's worth $71 mil at today's prices, must be Mr Xi's buddies. The important thing is that prices are still rising. Glencore are getting an awful walloping, selling assets at a knockdown price. They are desperate for money. I reckon we (Minco) should offer them US$ 1,000,000 to buy back Pallas Green and not a penny more. Come on Kearney, let's see those negotiating skills.

That's right if you were Dalradian it would be worth offering x3 the minco market cap

Yes that in my opinion is being conservative, the royalty from daldrian is a dead cert, so just case of being patient with that, or daldarian could even by minco out... for a nice amount, so this year cant see them being below 2p.. when all is realised
