Since the last major uptick in oil prices (2008-2009 - where we saw prices way over $110) MCB has adjusted its customer contracts to include oil price volatilty as a "pass through". They have learnt their lesson here!

perfect bounce off of trend.

macd - turned up and crossed

rsi: good strength

importantly - res of 230.3 closed above.

everything suggests an assault on previous high.

Back above 22ema, macd gone bullish, RSI rising and above 50, 250 is my short term target and we'll see from there.

Ok quick update

Outgoing CEO cashes in a few chips before moving on - can't blame him really.

An attack on the 5 year high faltered, was a little optomistic perhaps this time around?

Good support building again around the 220p mark, indicating a solid floor for the newly established channel, currently in a very nice uptrend.

I don't like the look of equity markets in general so I'm looking for defensive stocks - and MCB is perfect. If we break 210, looking at 180p so set stop losses accordingly. Still some very good profits to be had here, despite the branders promotional activity.

I wondered what that was all about Pete - think it was just a technical error looking at the last few trades.

Nice intraday of 255p - we'll see a new five year high this week or next. I'm really excited about this chart now and I really can't believe there's hardly anyone here!
