Up 4% on such a dismal day - bodes well for tomorrow :-) If this finishes 153+ then 170 tomorrow is a cert!

HL. brought out their results this morning. They were very good. The share price moved up 12 points but it couldn't sustain it due to the market pulling it back down.

I fear that this will happen on Thursday. Unless of course if the ftse is up it might stand a chance.

Results tomorrow expected to be excellent. Analysts are expecting full year profit before tax to increase by 38% to £29.5m, with EPS up 34% to 11.8p.

Should be a good run - just hope the US performance doesn't weigh too heavily on the ftse.

Tweeeek - FY results due Sep 3. Channelling nicely and we're looking at a breakout soon - upside looks to be 200p.

Tweek

Interims should please - and debt is being reduced significantly.

Watching for that all important breakout - but need volume.

If this keeps its head above 150 then there is hope, else could get very messy considering its carrying a lot of debt.

If we can break out of the upper resistance within the current channel, we should see a move on 200p+

170p needed to propel this upwards, otherwise we'll likely bounce back to re-test the lower trend line.

Given the current economic climate that all sounds pretty damned good. I'm a happy holder after that :-)

Full year revenue growth, on a constant currency basis, is expected to be 4%,
benefiting from Private Label gaining market share in our major markets.

The Board expects to report operating profits for the year ended 30 June 2009,
before amortisation of intangible assets and exceptional items, of not less than
GBP35m.

Year-end net debt is expected to be less than GBP90m, subject to exchange rate
movements, reflecting continuing strong operational flows. As a result of this
finance costs are slightly lower than expected.
