Who voted to kick out the EU national nurses, I wonder?

And which government abolished the bursaries for nurses-in-training?

Keep it going gammons, we will all be dead prematurely if you keep on making these poor life choices for us all.

In other words the government has lost control of the crisis even before it happens.
As for the NHS "flexing" around a 50k shortage of nurses - you really could not make this up.

Yes, good point cheshire. The Chinese need to be held to account on these issues or we will just be back to square one, for those of us who are still around, in the near future.

We sorted out our BSE and Foot & Mouth, they need to get their house in order also.

"just think more people will die of Flu than Cov-19 this storm must stop soon .."

Ah yes pal44 but we're used to flu. This imported foreign stuff is a different matter.

When is the WHO or anyone else going to stamp out unhygienic practices in food in other parts of the world given the disastrous effects we're now seeing in ROW?

So, Trump to throw the first billions to fight the virus..
"Trump's 8.3 billions billion combat Coronavirus wins enough support in US Senate.."

Nope, CONGRESS is bunging $8.3bn at Corona, not Trump.

Trump doesn't have such a mandate to hand money out, Congress does.

Pelosi says Congress 'close' to reaching bipartisan agreement on coronavirus funding

crossing, most half decent Pharmaceutical companies have a validated number of RM suppliers, but as you say many are in China"

I believe the UK is better placed than USA. But who knows.

"I'm quite pleased that COVID-19 is showing everyone the weakness of Globalisation, only the Wealthy have benefited from it, whist it's destroyed jobs and lives throughout the World!"

Yup couldn't agree more.

There you go Boris, has the lady who died today "taken it on the chin" for us?

What a stunningly crass comment from a supposed PM!

I'm sorry but this gung-ho, macho attitude by our PM is positively dangerous for us with this virus and in world relations.

It can't get any worse can it?

$8.3 bill sounds like a nice bung to the pharma industry.

Could it be they already have a solution for under $20 a pop?
