Yesterdays mini update from EDISON...

INVESTMENT SUMMARY

Interim results are scheduled for 29 November. The Q1 update showed the group trading in line with management expectations and on track for FY17 across all operating and trading territories. The order book was 'at record levels', with good uptake of new party ware categories in Australia and the UK. IG Design's new branding emphasises that it is more than an efficient, commodity business and that its skillsets can be leveraged across adjacent categories. The US opportunity is by far the largest and the new local management team is making a strong start. The Lang Companies, acquired in July, are bedding in well and should be earnings neutral in FY17e; accretive in FY18e as the synergistic benefits start to flow. The share price has started to grasp the changing proposition, but has yet to fully reflect it.

I amassed a few from 2007 to 2014 davidosh but have sold some over the last few years to help with retirement but still hold just under 100k, tempted to add a few today with this continuous slump!

Davidosh, its always flat out there this time of year-most of the Xmas orders usually finish up and get delivered by 3rd week in November then it quietens down and agency staff get laid off, this year is pretty much inline with previous. We got 2 new production machines coming on line in January which will be run 24/7 and I think 4 more in the pipeline so nothing to worry about with the order book.
I enjoyed most of my time there but can honestly say I don't miss the place especially the night shifts!

The view from my bedroom window is dominated by IG Wales davidosh and I worked there for 24 years. I have no family there but many old work mates that often let me know what's going on.

Yes edale, its for the BBC program 'inside the factory' which shows how everyday objects are made. Its due for broadcast on bbc2 during first 2 weeks of December.
