I have been tempted to take some profits but think I will wait. I think this has plenty more room to grow. If it can get to almost £5 with Hedlund captaining the ship. It will certainly surpass that with Fineman.

This has been a long road and one hell of a trek for a few of us on here, my best buys were in 08 and 09 where i picked up 10k at 23p, 20k at 22p and 30k at 21p.

I am indeed now retired-i took that leap of faith in 2012 at the age of 44 after 24 years of shift work, was starting to regret it when these slumped to 31p in 2013 but not any more.

Bought most of mine in the 50p's starting from Oct 2011 but bought some in Jul 2013
for 31.5p! - so they are a 10 bagger for me.

Think it illustrates how well you can do with a small company.

I recall Jim Slater in his Zulu Principle book saying "elephants dont gallop but a flea can jump several times its height" as an analogy between small and large cap companies...has always stuck in my mind.

I suspect the fall in the GBP and rise in the USD is behind some of the recent buying.

I am sure LG and ps would be very happy if all their investments worked out as well as IGR and both have realised some excellent gains so we are all winners here.

Would reiterate what ps said and thanks to t2r who I think is retired from the company now but nice to see his IGR investment give a big boost to his pension.

I once read that the big fault with PIs is that they always sell too soon. It was a valuable piece of advice. Having said that when you see a decent profit after waiting literally years its very hard to resist selling.
My only offer tip Lord G is CNR. Its has proven gold in the ground, has major mining investors on side including the CEO and is a prime candidate to be sold. Worth doing some research.

Congratulations to you psolomons. I am now enjoying the fruits of my IGR profits in my new home in Norfolk. Having bought at an average of just 50p I sold out at an average of around 160 to finance my purchase, however, I am now kicking myself. If I have only held for another six months I could have bought Norfolk! I am now looking for the next IGR. All ideas welcome.

Having mentioned it before I thought it only fair to post this.
We've now smashed through the £3 barrier. I committed to review my holding at this point and have decided to sell enough to get my original stake back. All the IGR shares I will hold will be effectively free. Its still a substantial holding but feels good to have de risked my stake.
It has been a superb run which I have every confidence will continue.
