25/7/2016 09:10 | Some placings are a warning that the company is in trouble and needing to raise emergency funds. This is absolutely NOT the case here. The funds are being used to help grow the business and support existing expansion plans. IGR will be stronger as a result with benefit to the share price | psolomons
20/7/2016 21:32 | IGR scores well on a number of different stock screening measures, summarised in this article (you need to register to read) | daz
12/7/2016 16:37 | Here's a bit of what LANG does...A very good acquisition for IGR... hxxp://www.lang.com/ | time 2 retire
11/7/2016 22:00 | Thanks for the link T2R, Edison's estimates look like they can be beaten, as IGR always seems to guide low at the start of the year. A forward p/e of 11 on those conservative numbers, for a business with momentum does look very good value. | daz
11/7/2016 20:23 | Nothing in a straight line but plenty more to come with this share. The dividend is a very sweet bonus. | psolomons
11/7/2016 15:20 | Edison summary; IG Design (IGR) has announced the acquisition of Lang Companies for $3.6m in cash. The deal is earnings neutral in FY17e but accretive in FY18e as the synergistic benefits start to flow. Lang has a complementary product range in stationery and giftware and some strong sports-based licences. It also has a design-led culture that should mesh well with IGR’s US operations, which have been gaining momentum. The share price has started to grasp the changing proposition, but has yet to fully reflect it. | davebowler
11/7/2016 14:36 | Edison updated again... Revenue for 2018 now penciled in at £282 million | time 2 retire
11/7/2016 12:56 | And this could be a very good time to be buying US businesses Daz with the £ to the $ a 30 year low. | time 2 retire
11/7/2016 08:33 | Acquisition announced this morning. It looks very promising, revenues of $34.4m are being acquired for a cash cost of $3.6 + transaction and restructuring costs of £1m, so about $5 in total. The company mention 'meaningful; sourcing synergies + modest management and cross selling synergies. If they can turn it round it will be seen to be a bargain but it looks like there is some work to be done. | daz
04/7/2016 10:48 | I just wanted to check what others have for forecast EPS for 2017. According to Stocko, this looks to have been upgraded from 12.8 to 14.4p since the full year results were issued. Just wanted to check this was correct. | imranawan
30/6/2016 22:59 | Thanks for the links to the interviews. There will certainly be savings in interest charges this year through the lower debt level and the better financing arrangements put in place. I think part of the reason for the fall in debt is that the investments have significantly reduced the amount of stock that needs to be held, lower working capital and cash generation, a trend that hopefully will continue into this years as well with a full year's contribution from the US investment. The management seem very confident of growing the top line through a combination of organic growth (improved order book) and acquistion as mentioned in the interview, so decent growth in EPS looks very likely. This looks a very safe hold to me on a current p/e of just over 12. | daz
