22/7/2016 11:38 | It seems the buyers are very slowly nibbling away day after day at this stock and the price has nicely consolidated above 180. It would be nice to think that the sellers are now exhausted around 185 and we will move to attack 190 over the next few days. | cc2014
04/7/2016 16:31 | I covered this in an article today: Regards Graham | rndm355
04/7/2016 10:09 | Capable management team? I can't think of many where such disastrous decisions (bets) have been made and mostly lost. That's why the price is 170p and not £10. | meijiman
04/7/2016 08:21 | Trading update today! Situation on Tower much better than I expected. Hard to tell what the market thinks. Price slightly up right now but no-one buying or selling! | cc2014
01/7/2016 15:49 | I wonder if there will be a trading update shortly? | meijiman
17/6/2016 13:15 | Artemis sell 250k shares at 170p and then buy most of them back at 169p a month or so later. | cc2014
07/6/2016 12:52 | I know it's only lunchtime but not a seller anywhere so far and buyers slowly moving the bid up looking for stock. It will be very interesting to see if the seller returns late in the day or has gone away completely. | cc2014
06/6/2016 21:14 | Most interesting thing today was the volume of stock traded. Far higher than usual. We will see what happens tomorrow and whether we get more of the same. It was clear today looking at the trades that the buyers have far more patience than the seller. | cc2014
06/6/2016 16:36 | Yes I did read that update which was detailed-clearly the market wants some delivery first. | meijiman
06/6/2016 16:02 | I think they summed it up rather nicely in the last trading update. Net assets value is £140M and they re liquidating £66M of that over the next 10 months or so. They are also branching out into property development and think they can add considerable value to their property assets. Current market cap is only £55M. | hugepants
06/6/2016 13:50 | Has the company made a convincing case for the company to be a worthwhile investment going forward? I'm not sure. The idea that you become a winner from being the last man standing in coal has not worked. Think the management could not see the wood for the trees. Many commentators and even the government said coal was going to disappear -seems like the company thought they knew better.I read somewhere that one day recently the country generated all its power without using any coal fired. What is this company worth -I've no idea. | meijiman
06/6/2016 13:25 | It is my interpretation that often when someone wants to acquire a large amount of stock the brokers slam it down first to create a nervous environment around the share and to take out some stops. We shall see - From my day to day viewing of L2 I have the feeling there has been one party selling this share for the last 6 weeks. I don't suppose he's finished but I do find it interesting that we now have a small bot buying at 172.0 which is way above the low of the day. | cc2014
06/6/2016 12:11 | Warm weather? | meijiman
06/6/2016 11:45 | Down 4% this morning. Anyone know if there is a reason for the drop? | hugepants
18/5/2016 12:49 | Some small buying at 200 in the intra-day auction as slowly slowly this inches up. Psychologically 200 is interesting and it's where the sellers came out in force on the last set of news. However, I sense some or all of those sellers have since got out at 190-192. I am quite hopeful. At the moment anything oil or commodity related is rising and the second line stocks like HSP are starting to pick up momentum too | cc2014
17/5/2016 21:41 | a move through 200p would make for an interesting chart. | value viper
13/5/2016 13:18 | Volume has absolutely collapsed. Buyers not inclined to pay any more. Sellers not inclined to sell for less. Presumably the buyers think the stock worth 150p and the sellers thing the stock worth 250p. | cc2014
09/5/2016 13:16 | hmm - a few buys going through at 195.0 but the spread not narrowing. Hard to tell whether the MM are now short of stock and don't want to encourage any more buyers or whether there is a hidden seller who has more to shift at 195.0 | cc2014
05/5/2016 22:30 | RNS today. Artemis selling 250k shares, exactly matching in quantity the 250k bought by the directors. | cc2014
02/5/2016 15:12 | Well, FWLIW, this seems much more likely to be a share propping exercise than a set of "value" buys, to me. The plans, intended changes, and recent purchases, strike me as very much a plunge into the unknown on a wing and a prayer, which may or may not work out OK. JMHO, Regards. | muckshifter
02/5/2016 12:50 | once directors bought, I've had some ; the (current) CEO led an MBO here in 2004 and floated it in 2005 ; hhhmm. | value viper
29/4/2016 13:19 | yes missed the directors buys. Think that should put a floor under it. tiger | castleford tiger
29/4/2016 12:42 | Another good day. Found some sellers at 200. Not surprising as someone was selling at 200 on the way down. Next stop 400? rofl. Well maybe 250. Happy to hold and see what happens | cc2014 |
