Just for you essentialinvestor because of voting structure at IMPT they need over 90% of the votes for the bid to go through. Alpha and an associate company own roughly 25% of IMPT. All they are asking for is another 60p a share. There are only 8500000 shares so in total that is £5.1million. Less the 20% Hansteen own brings it down to £4 million. Considering the property is worth 100million thats not that much different. These are just rough figures.

Shares in property investment company Hansteen (HSTN) rose 6% immediately after its announcement of plans to sell its German and Dutch industrial property portfolios to Blackstone Group for €1.28 billion (£1.1 billion).

Liberum analyst David Brockton retained his ‘buy’ recommendation and target price of 130p following news of the sale. The shares gained 1% to close 1.2p higher at 123p on Monday.

‘In addition to full-year 2016 results 3% ahead of our net asset value forecast, Hansteen has successfully crystallised value on its German and Dutch portfolios, divesting them at a 6% premium to the full-year 2016 valuation and 30% above full-year 2015,’ he said.

‘This delivers a good return as the European assets hit cyclically high occupancy and rents, with a favourable exchange rate.’

After the cash proceeds are returned to the business, Brockton believes it should be well placed to deliver attractive returns in an industrial market that is seeing strong occupational growth with limited competing supply.

Hansteen Holdings plc (LON:HSTN) was upgraded by analysts at Numis Securities Ltd to an "add" rating. They now have a £1.35 price target on the stock

Thought HSTN only needed over 50% agreement on the IMPT offer,
perhaps incorrect in that assumption?.

Following Completion and repayment of the debt secured against the German and Dutch portfolios (and satisfaction of other incurred costs) Hansteen intends to distribute a substantial portion of the net cash proceeds of the Transaction to its Shareholders.
