06/3/2017 14:24 | It can't keep bumping 1.18 surely. | essentialinvestor
06/3/2017 09:44 | exel, NTV on the IMPT board has given a view on why he thinks £3 is cheap for HSTN. | essentialinvestor
05/3/2017 10:29 | HSTN hold near a 16% stake in IMPT now. Prospects for German commercial property in 2017 look increasingly strong, particualarly for smaller units to support logistic demand, driven by growth in online. HSTN maintain their assets are valued at significantly below replacement cost. If wider equity markets stay strong, the 120's beckon for Hansteen just IMV. | essentialinvestor
05/3/2017 01:12 | Wouldn't be happy to see HSTN paying more than 300p for IMPT. Are there any other takers out there? The 300p offer was recommended by the independent directors, despite subsequent noises off. | exel
03/3/2017 14:02 | More like a leg end!, on these type of trades yes, bought some down to 116.15 yesterday. Added in quantity Thursday, sold about 12% of those bought only. If markets hold, HSTN should get some decent comment around results, notice they are increasing their UK holdings as a % of assets. They will also get IMPT imv, may have to pay a bit more, that will be another decent chunk of UK exposure. May find the UK matches their German holdings over the next couple of years, as that looks to be their direction of travel atm. | essentialinvestor
03/3/2017 13:52 | He's a legend:)EI..I'll hav a peep over the wkd | badtime
03/3/2017 13:31 | EI You trade in and out a lot Are you a Scalper ? | pillion
03/3/2017 12:49 | Eurozone growth at a 6 year high. German data strong. Sold a few at 117.33 at the open, add back if we take a dip. bt, fwiw bought 5K LOOK yesterday under 1.24, results next week, looks value to me but sector sentiment dire, Odey also has a short position there. Speculative trade. Will keep them if it does not work out as divi payout rising rapidly. | essentialinvestor
02/3/2017 21:05 | SKY, appreciate the reply and view, many thanks. Agree on GBP/EURO as mentioned on SHA, however the market appears to view it differently atm. On trading, unable to do this daily, may be 20 years ago, fits and starts these days. | essentialinvestor
02/3/2017 18:08 | UAI..are looking to develop a fair sized site in Brighton that I'm keeping my eye on | badtime
02/3/2017 17:58 | EI - I think I've given my view already on this thread; though I suppose it could have been on the CP+ thread. I don't rate Hansteen as value; but I'm pleased to read daily that you have successfully adopted a great active trading policy, extracting multiple small turns. Well done you; seems a good way to play this one at this level. Up at 117.5p they are on only a 2% discount to the admittedly historic Adjusted EPRA NAV of 120.5p. The finals on 21st March may well lift that NAV by c5% to 126.5p, so the NAV to end'16 may actually pan out at c7% discount. Also they mention large undeveloped land reserves; so that too will presumably deliver at some stage. The yield of 4.5% assists; but there are many REITs/Propcos yielding more, so that 4.5% is unexceptional. However, what I really don't like is the exposure to the Euro at what I believe to be a substantially undervalued £. Whatever one's view of the GBPEUR rate, any investor has to bear that risk in mind. Sorry, but my view is irrelevant - I hope to read of your continued success with HSTN trades. Personally holding my breath on the property front as UAI closed above 180p today - about time too! | skyship
02/3/2017 17:23 | Delete the bit to receive emails ..there's your remedy :) | badtime
02/3/2017 14:40 | Pete, like to aim for juvenile on a good day. Doing some share research today so may have too much free time. The floor is yours if you have some Hansteen specific knowledge or views to share... Sharing is caring apparently ; | essentialinvestor

02/3/2017 14:16 | Nothing wrong with caution Pillion, act in haste repent at leisure etc. Having said that missed ITV yesterday as hesitated, would have been a quick in/out. | essentialinvestor
02/3/2017 14:15 | My buy finger is hovering over HSTN & MCS I am much more cautious these days already own CRST & TEF and a smattering of HOC | pillion
02/3/2017 13:40 | Pillion, you may already be aware, FY results are on the 21 March. If you get 1.13, will most definitely be joining you down there!. | essentialinvestor
02/3/2017 13:20 | lol well the dividends may help ). | essentialinvestor
02/3/2017 13:07 | Pillion, you had nearly 6 months to buy under that level!. ) It is a challenge ATM to find value, so much has been re-rated. Buying HSTN nearly 10% under year end NAV looks pretty much fair value to me, unless wider markets go lower. Would expect NAV at 1.25-1.26 very approx. SKY has probably forgotten more about this sector than I will ever know, his take may be different. | essentialinvestor
02/3/2017 12:45 | I want some before next results Don't fancy paying more than 113p though | pillion
02/3/2017 12:15 | A few more. | essentialinvestor
02/3/2017 09:37 | Everything sold yesterday now bought back, and a extra 5.5k at 116.5. | essentialinvestor
02/3/2017 09:20 | Bought back some sold at the open and before yesterday's close. | essentialinvestor |
