Sit back with your feet up as the divis roll in and the share price rises.As they move further on line they might even hive off the car maintenance business.

Takes 12-18 months to see tangible results from a new board Kendo - but the share price will react far sooner as you've seen recently, imo.

Wait till you see real tangible results but I suspect these will go higher before you do imo.

Bought a new sat nav from HFD.Part exchanged the old one which they didn't even take.Staff really helpful.

Had a chat,staff get lots of training via their getting into gear programme.It seems dash cams are the thing of the moment.

I thought you were long gone Kendo.Short from 4 quid.You have been unmasked.

"The weather is rather dull" thats as bad as sausage rolls don't sell in hot weather.

Premium bike sales are up,cycle repairs up 24%,car maintenance,camping,child seats all showing growth.
The growth of the MAMIL(middle aged men in lycra) is driving bike sales not the tour de farce.

I read this last week which was one of the the things that attracted me to buying back into HFD:



Could provide quite a bit of risk-free income via third parties, increase traffic to Halfords products and give HFD an insight into what's selling well that they don't currently sell imo.

I think McDonald from McDonalds looks like a sharp cookie that has a plan imo - something Matt Davies seemed to lack imo.

Been buying back in on the results - chart starting to look very positive imo. I think Old McDonald from McDonalds has done a pretty good job since joining too.

Not sure old Matt Davies was as good as the reputation the preceded him - he's gonna need to do a lot better at Tesco imo.

The figures continue to be impressive and Jill is doing a great job in reinforcing the strategy already mapped out.The auto centres continue to grow in strength.The retail strategy is even growing in areas that he previously slowed down.The Cycle Republic Cajun is poised to rapidly expand its footprint in the next 18 months.I am a long term holder and bought in originally when Matt Davies joined as I knew he would turn it around and sell to private equity. There are not many solid UK business's about that have a great cash generation potential with the appropriate gearing in place. IMHO I expect a bid for this company within the next six months at around the 640 to 670 mark.Jill is here to hold the tiller whilst the Chairman steers us into harbour.Looking positive on all fronts IMO.

Very impressive.Like for like up 4.2%.
The only down was car cleaning.

With good weather and further openings of Cycle Republic stores things are looking good going forward.
