20/1/2015 13:16 | Share price looking good in the run up to results. I heard a different story re pre Xmas deliveries that they were so busy logistics just couldn't keep up. | nigelmoat
20/1/2015 13:07 | Very true this happened on more that 70 deliveries apparently. Not good and that's why Jason was pushed out the door | nick9013
20/1/2015 12:47 | Very useful find Kendo, but I'm not sure how to square that with the "mini trading statement" on the 8th Trading for the 13 weeks ended 26 December 2014 continued to be strong and was in line with management's expectations. As you say we'll see tomorrow, I'm staying in for the moment though. | kazoom
20/1/2015 12:43 | Thanks followed your advice and sold | nw99
20/1/2015 12:01 | If they have had logistic problems of getting stock into stores for Xmas it's bound to have an effect on profits and turnover. If they announce a weak set of figures this will go below £4.Let's see what tomorrow brings? | kendonagasaki
20/1/2015 11:14 | I'm out. Thanks for the heads up. | akbar:
20/1/2015 10:48 | Nick I've contacted the company it's true.Jason Keegan was Director of logistic and supply. He is no longer with the business. | kendonagasaki
20/1/2015 10:35 | Cashed in my long this morning, only made a few points in the end, didn't bounce as I thought it would and I don't want to be holding into results etc just in case there is some negativity, still watching closely. | eastbourne1982
20/1/2015 10:32 | Correct. I heard the same I'm staying away this time. As I said Halfords is very easily read normally with good research, but this time I feel it's a coin toss. So I'm staying away. Good luck all in and don't forget dyor | nick9013
20/1/2015 09:48 | Dozy, I can't confirm this, but I have heard a rumour that the company had major issues with the supply chain that left many stores without stock this Xmas. As I say I can't confirm this as I've heard from someone else. However this someone else states it to be so, and tells me the new senior logistics director Jason Keenan or Keegan of Halfords, is no more at his post.I just need someone to confirm or deny that its true.If it is why has he gone so suddenly?Did he walk? Was he pushed?Who fired the gun?Did he just want a change of carreer.I might give halfords a call to confirm? Not looking good if its true? | kendonagasaki
19/1/2015 09:39 | I think many are waiting to bail out here with recent news and boss man leaving. Trading over xmas wasn't amazing either. I'm out at the moment but we shall see. Hfd is normally quite predictable. | nick9013
