09/1/2015 15:23 | See what the newspapers have to say at the weekend regarding Halfords. Cycling is still very much in-trend. On-line sales have been good everywhere, I don't see why Halfords on-line sales should be any different. | yewtrees
09/1/2015 14:15 | Yep, just tracked it down on google. My local in Zaandam is selling out its stock in the shop today at massive discounted prices. Gona pop round and see what I can find... | jak1
09/1/2015 14:05 | Very old news pal. | eastbourne1982
09/1/2015 13:58 | Halfords in the Netherlands been declared bankrupt by the Dutch courts. Old news to you all or what ? | jak1
09/1/2015 10:46 | Yes, I reckon this will head back up to £4.50 within the next week to ten days as long as the general market is fairly neutral. The yearly trading range is roughly £4.20ish to just over £5ish so it should gradually regain some value in the short term. | eastbourne1982
09/1/2015 10:14 | All aboard for the rise back up - plenty to go yet! | nigelmoat
09/1/2015 09:11 | Looked at Halford's website at their job section for the 20 miles around my area, they had four pages of vacancies for jobs. Not sure how to interpret that information, are they still taking on people because the company is doing well or are they a bad company to work for and have a turnover of staff? | yewtrees
08/1/2015 14:14 | Should have held off for another ten minutes, could have got in around £4.25 which would have saved me a fair bit, oh well, still think this is a great short term trading opportunity for a fairly quick 5 - 7%. | eastbourne1982
08/1/2015 14:04 | Great buying opportunity. Complete overshoot with the share price fall. | nigelmoat
08/1/2015 13:52 | Just gone long with an average price around £4.31p. The drop looks overdone to me and I would expect a bounce back to £4.50 - £4.60 within the next week or two. | eastbourne1982
08/1/2015 10:40 | "Trading for the 13 weeks ended 26 December 2014 continued to be strong and was in line with management's expectations. As originally planned, a full trading update for the 15 weeks to 9 January 2015 will be provided on 21 January 2015". | mortimer7

08/1/2015 08:36 | Closed the last of my HFD at the open - bad news for HFD imo. CR | cockneyrebel
08/1/2015 08:03 | Pity the CEO Matt Davies has gone to TSCO.Did a very good job.A little bit in the RNS that might go unnoticed "trading continues to be strong" | shauney2

02/1/2015 19:37 | Well they had winter for two days. However that will not make up for the other 59 days of glorious warm weather over the last two months over this critical period.A period that needed to be revenue generating at critical levels compared to last year.IMO I can't see it happening come results day? | kendonagasaki
22/12/2014 07:30 | Look at halfords website! They are giving stuff away. They look as if they are trying to compete with Amazon?Big mistake. However going into one of the branches to asses the status quo, I was quite shocked to see many items at a different price to the online price.I queried it with a member of their staff and was told "yes they knew that and the staff just price match it to the web price???"I think they need to review the online pricing architecture whilst making it clearer to the consumer who shops in store that they will not get unfairly treated if they have not perused their web site prior to arrival to their stores. So to me that indicates these web only offer deals are a sham because the stores will just price match it.Remember this QTR must be about Margin growth it will be vital to sustain the share price. If not I'm calling £4. | kendonagasaki
17/12/2014 12:23 | Warmest December since records began,Looks like they may not be having a winter wonderland after all? Looks like they are competing too aggressively online also, this year and IMO we are going to squeeze margin again in Q3. | kendonagasaki
16/12/2014 08:53 | What is going on here | nick9013 |
