JF. Fnd is 45 to 46 on asx according to my source. Anyway looks like Aim share price is a bit too low.

Not really much chat about Finders, so do not know.
Maybe they are waiting for more info on permit, before they post the drilling results?
If permit is issued then share price must go much higher with current PO Cu.
Maybe there are further issues regarding the permit? Does anyone know how likely success will be. I know this was slower than expected due to elections in November.

An update on their gold projects would be good, and I do see these as potentially offering a lot of upside, but I am primarily looking at investing because of Wetar. I hold a few goldies but wanted a copper miner (altho I managed to pick up some WTI last week) in my portfolio. I still like FND, but slightly annoyed I picked them over DME earlier in the year. Just the way it goes sometimes I guess.

I have been in and out of this one and am trying to catch upwith any recent developments. Presumably the Indonesian elections have now happened. Has there been any movement on the mining permits, or the companies move to have their land classified as 'open land' in order to avoid any forestry law issues? Thanks

jonny: You're a bit early. But wait a minute, what time is that in Bucharest??

OT I know you are an occasional oil investor. Please take a look at CAD. Interesting story, valued at cash and ready to roll any day imo.

jf: tempted to pick up a few more here.

(OT) End of Nov seems to be critical for a few of mine: FND, RRR, RGM (tomorrow??), AVN (tomorrow), XEL (any day). And we might always hear something from GKP ... or AAAM... Interesting times /:-)

large buy today for FND on AIM. 114,000 shares, not me unfortunately. I think the elections are over now. So really hope to have permit before year end. Then they can get building. I'm sure they are chomping at the bit to start!!

Thanks JF. I think we will always be about 2p below the share price on the ASX, as the secondary market. As long as there is a 1p spread, (now 1/2p) and decent volume to buy and sell. I can live with that. Although not happy obviously. As you know the shareholding on this share is very tight. With over 50% held by the major shareholders as listed in the latest RNS. That means that if people what to buy into FND, the volume is very limited and this share will fly. Because can't I see any large sellers out there. Significant shareholders all increased stake in latest placing. Even disgruntled shareholders Tennant will wait for $1.00 Aus before selling out.

The fundamentals of copper are best of all the base metals. And at 12,000 a tonne if FND is in full production. We will get our rewards. Patience :-). If FND gets Ojolali into swing as well with anticipated higher gold/silver prices. Then my valuations will easily exceeded. But always be conservative and hope to be surprised on the upside. Looking good here :-)

Idly wondering if this is an all time high, looked up the old thread. 1st post (March '06): "got in at 24p". At least we're better than that to-day (just) !!

delighted by your dynamic posts tarnow, good luck to you and also to us all here!
China may be requiring 300% more copper within 10 years according to an article I spotted today.
- THe silver: if silver does what we think it is doing even now then miners which have incidental silver will re-rate. Goes of course also for zinc-silver plays.

Thanks guys. I don't post often, occasionally on this thread. But I always enjoy reading other posters. Especially on this thread as its calm, and informative. Not full of rubbish, and rampers/de-rampers. Nice to see the close in spread today at 24 bid 25 ask. Lets hope it stays around this time. I know its a bug bear of yours too Coffeelito. The spread on this share is ridiculous at times. A 1p spread is about right for this share. I've come close to writing to Chris before about FND on the AIM market. About talking to FND brokers to get their act together, or trying to engage new brokers to encourage competition. Because often it bears no comparison to FND on ASX. I know it is very much the secondary market in terms of volume. But the price often doesn't reflect ASX. And more importantly the spread is very wide sometimes compared to FND on ASX were it usually has 1c spread or 1/2p. I will watch with interest on the spread. I still hope like you Coffelito, that with volume and time, the spread will be closer as the norm. Spot on Soulsauce. Look forward to the Jambi update. Now combine that with permit in December and it will make my Christmas :-)
