08/9/2010 18:26 | Yeah, now would be a good time to release some positive news on Ojolali, the below info is taken from the website :) "Finders' current exploration strategy is to increase the oxide gold resource to +300,000 oz Au equivalent, to provide the basis for a low cost 30-50,000 oz gold per year open pit mine based on the Jambi oxide resource, and to use the cash flow from this plant to fund exploration for additional resources and progressive expansion of the project". | jonny flame
08/9/2010 08:27 | On ASX the share price closed today at A$0.32 bid which at current exchange rate = 19 pence. The offer price was A$0.33 which = 19.7 pence. So if the MMs here made any effort to truly reflect the ASX price, the mid-price would be 19.35 and the spread would be just 0.7 pence. (as opposed to the officially stated 15-19p spread, how do they get away with it? Obviously, because they can). | coffeelito
06/9/2010 10:00 | So far today the maximum I can buy online is a paltry 15,000 shares at 18.88p .. whereas they're happy to let me sell 75,000 at 16.5p. Interesting. The shares were up a fraction on ASX but maybe the more encouraging thing is that volume may be starting to pick up now that the fundraising is done and there's less worry about cashflow ? PS - The strengthening copper price can't be bad either. PPS - Wow, Big Brother is watching !! Within minutes, if not seconds, of posting the above, the share price was marked down. Market makers having fun monitoring this board are you? | coffeelito
03/9/2010 05:56 | coffeelito - thanks for that. | jonny flame
02/9/2010 16:21 | JF, Rather a large workload of non-share related stuff which is a high priority at the moment - so my time for keeping up with events has had to slip lately I'm afraid. I will be away for 3 weeks from the 14th but will look in whilst travelling. It will however impact on my comp thread as I will be unable to do all the weekly number crunching. I will post up something in the header there to keep everyone informed. All the best Chip | chipperfrd
02/9/2010 16:15 | OK many thanks Chip, I kind of figured you were busy or on holiday, hope all is well. Regards, JF | jonny flame
02/9/2010 16:12 | JF, I will try and get an update done this weekend. Chip | chipperfrd
02/9/2010 15:26 | Look at the price of copper. Also look at CHL, a want to be coal miner in Kalimantan, Indonesia, they have a massive coal resource, and looking at the share price today they are not being held back by environmental issues which have been much discussed on here. (I hold CHL) | jonny flame
02/9/2010 09:57 | coffeelito - the trade at 9.30am of 100,000 @ 16.5p a buy or sell? What do you reckon? | jonny flame

01/9/2010 08:13 | Hi Chip, will you update your 'Forward earnings estimations - last update 27/7/2010' to account for the issue of additional shares? Best regards, JF | jonny flame
30/8/2010 08:13 | Sp dipped and then improved a touch and on high volume (700k) which I take to be a fairly good sign. Hopefully the fundraising has put a line of support under the share price Now we need to get back to news-driven share price rises. | coffeelito

30/8/2010 00:44 | Fundraising was successful, with AUS$20m raised at 28 cents, which seems encouraging since only a small discount to current share price Also bullish comments from Russell Fountain. | coffeelito
26/8/2010 08:00 | I wonder if the placing is being adversely affected by the intended legal claims against the company? | someuwin
26/8/2010 00:45 | Trading halt has become a suspension because of delay in the fundraising. I just hope this is because management are refusing to sign on the dotted line for a deal that will be too dilutive to existing shareholders. Says it will remain until Monday latest. | coffeelito
24/8/2010 01:11 | Just received following email from my contact at Finders: It is normal practice in Australia to conduct an equity raising whilst in a trading halt - quite normal. Note trading halts go for up to two days; any halt longer than that is called a suspension. I note AIM doesn't have the concept of trading halts. | coffeelito
24/8/2010 00:37 | You beat me to it Chip .. says the suspension will last until Thursday, I think. I have emailed the company trying to get a sense of their take on it .. do you see this as more positive than negative, ie at last the fundraising will be done ? Or is it a(nother) sign of weakness that they have felt it necessary to suspend the shares while trying to tie up the deal ? | coffeelito
23/8/2010 23:20 | FND in a trading halt over-night on ASX pending a fund-raising announcement. | chipperfrd
17/8/2010 15:35 | At least the price of copper is doing well, the housing starts in the US were pretty good. | jonny flame
