Great news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was beginning to doubt this day would ever come. Everything told me it had to be granted, but until it is you can never be sure. The rest of the permits are a formality now |I'm sure. Lets just hope they aren't so slow as the other one. Now for the financing, which I hope will not include hedging. This should now begin its climb to 80 cents. 14% is not as big a rise as I was expecting but the markets are very bearish at the moment. Happy man anyone. Invested big here for me and hoping my patience will be rewarded.

I am not expecting this BB to be very busy - but I will try and keep it up to date with the news flow as I am expecting to stay holding this share for the longer term. I will obviously be grateful for any info that I have missed to be posted up.

As Wettar would featureas a very low cost producer, it should have no great problem raising the $130M funds required.
Over the next 4-5 months we need to see both the mining permit and the change of use permit for the forestry area.

Very comprehensive professional report chip. We see that delay in permitting is due to local election of a new Regent, which itself seems to take time. Hopefully all sorted out in a number of weeks. The company is already having to step down all sorts of activities that they would have rather continued.
But these things are only to be expected.

Chip, any chance of a copper chart in the header?

I have thought that the Japanese problems will impact on China's growth and the writer, one Mr Smith, comes to the same conclusion. I've no way of knowing if a drift in copper price will harm FND. I don't really expect a small drift to do so.

latest Blackswann research report has a 12 month $0.80 target price. That would do me very nicely. Tells us what we already know, mining permit to cause re-rating. Pretty pretty please Mr Governor. can we have our mining permit this month :-)

I will continue to maintain this thread as I am still a holder.

7000 lb output using upgraded trial production gear, will be around Xmas.
23,000 lb output under a year later.
Bank financing is almost arranged ( end of March approx) $125M.

Let us hope that copper can remain high and also that FND can get its licence. I think that is overdue.

FND at mining presentation soon. Getting some publicity. Which has to be good. This share needs to be on the map. Has dates as Q2 2012 7000tpa, and Q1 2013 for 23000tpa. Which as you would expect due to permit delays is later than we would hope. Also mentions feasibility study Q1 2013 for Ojolali. But the price of Cu two years from now is impossible to predict. But the company will make money, but how much is any ones guess. $5 lb anyone :-) lol
