16/2/2022 14:07 | For sure, but a decent trading update also. Not convinced this is in the shareholders interests. I wonder what the management team are getting from the deal. | boydduk
16/2/2022 12:29 | Looks as though the news leaked a couple of days ago, and those in the know are now cashing out into the "rise" of the last couple of days. | outsizeclothes.com
16/2/2022 09:14 | Hope so because it's not worth cashing my chips | boydduk
16/2/2022 09:10 | I don't have any expertise in company analysis. But from a chart technicals viewpoint, the share price trajectory of Franchise Brands looks distinctly better than Filta group, over the last 5 years. So maybe the share swap will be a worthwhile move for shareholders. The 2 companies look fairly convinced it will be, from the RNS. | jdh1602
16/2/2022 08:53 | Takes a special management team to get an offer which lowers the share price on the day :-) . Unless things improve surely this won't go through? | boydduk
16/2/2022 08:44 | :-)) Exactly what I was thinking! And I was so hoping for a nice 30-40% share price jump when I first saw the RNS! | jdh1602
16/2/2022 08:19 | Please contain your excitement everyone | boydduk
07/2/2022 13:53 | Filta Group posted a trading update for the financial year ended 31st December. Revenues recovered strongly through 2021 and are now running at higher levels than they were before the impact of the pandemic. A record-setting third and fourth quarters helped the Group to finish the year with revenues of £23.6m (2020: £16.4m). FY22 trading has also started well with January 2022 revenue up 62% over the same period last year. The Board “views the future with confidence” and remains “confident in our ability to deliver continued growth in the coming year." So FLTA is another example of a business rebounding solidly from COVID shutdowns, with more to come. The balance sheet is solid. The share price has also more or less recovered its COVID losses, valuation is therefore not particularly helpful with forward PE ratio near 17. FLTA looks a solid business with some near term EPS growth potential, certainly one worth monitoring, but its not particularly exciting....from WealthOracle | km18
07/2/2022 10:26 | At least we now have some news on trading, these were pretty good, like to have seen UK exceed do better but glad to see second half improve on first. Be interesting to see the result after first half with everything in UK now open after 1st Q. Lockdown. Like to see them make a good push into mainland Europe now lockdowns lifted. | bookbroker
31/1/2022 14:02 | Sayers needs to issue a trading update, this is now just adrift on a lack of news. Theoretically the performance of the business should have continued to improve, omicron notwithstanding, in the UK and US. Obviously lockdowns in Europe prior to Xmas likely had a bearing, but it’s time we had some news. | bookbroker
26/1/2022 13:04 | Like to see a good update here, irritating falls recently after the positive reports last year. Re-opening in 2021 should have boded well, even if Europe saw lockdowns in some markets late on. | bookbroker
12/1/2022 13:58 | Expect this company to thrive considering they actually save food outlets money by purifying their oil, particularly with the rising cost of all cooking oils. | bookbroker
09/6/2021 10:52 | Positive press coverage of yesterday's Trading Update; | 1yellowjersey
20/4/2021 07:38 | update does not justify mkt cap10% drop on open? 20%? | scepticalinvestor

21/7/2020 22:10 | Hi all, My mate Peter @Conkers3 and myself did a ‘Twin Petes Investing’ Podcast a few days ago and part of our discussion covers FLTA. We also chatted about loads of other Stocks and as always a fair bit of general Portfolio Management educational stuff. Anyway, if you use Apple, Audioboom, Overcast or Spotify you can find it under the 'Conkers Corner' Channel (you want TPI Podcast 27) and you can find it on Soundcloud at the link below. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful, Cheers, WD @wheeliedealer | thewheeliedealer
25/6/2020 09:31 | pub opening should be boom time for Filta. I guess the problem is can cash strapped pubs afford it when the stuff Filta offer isn't compulsory. | davemac3
24/6/2020 12:27 | 119p to sell at present; perhaps odd as that is the mid rather than sell sp | maytrees
22/6/2020 12:47 | FLTA Filta Group, the trades to date show BUYS way ahead of SELLS, the 8% plus fall was way overdone this morning.(it should be a bargain entry point) Can only think it may be mistakenly being mixed up with the Covid Crowd or we have a big buyer waiting for an order to be filled. Anyway heres the figures so far today........ Trades 31 Vol. Sold 5,936 Sold Value £6,945 Vol. Bought 24,287 Bought Value £28.42k PE Ratio 84.173 Earnings 1.39 Dividend 1.64 Yield 1.402% | 3rd eye |
