26/9/2017 13:26 | Mr Pasty Nice one. I needed to take some smallish profits elsewhere and buy what I feel is a bargin. To me the current share price of EOG is a bargin. Thats how you play and survive this game IMHO. ATB, GD | greatfull dead
26/9/2017 13:10 | same here GD 100 @ 5.9 must be getting ready for next run after quite a sell off from 9 to 5.75 | currypasty

26/9/2017 11:55 | JoeStalin, yes, my thoughts exactly. Someone has had the lid on the Weald potential, but now it's off...hopefully too everyone's benefit. | rayrac
25/9/2017 17:40 | It is true .. planning permission has been granted .. with conditions .. it is only the two remaining conditions that were deferred from the previous meeting to be approved. Only consideration is if we get on the agenda for the October committee meeting. UKOG could have some influence on that. | jusmasel99
25/9/2017 16:32 | Hmmm nice one if its true... | guesswhosback
25/9/2017 13:59 | Planning consent from Surrey County Council is in place to drill and flow test the Holmwood-1 exploration well!!! How many years has this been stalled by the green welly brigade? | joestalin
25/9/2017 13:28 | "Planning consent from Surrey County Council is in place to drill and flow test the Holmwood-1 exploration well, which is now scheduled for the coming winter season" | currypasty

25/9/2017 08:17 | OT, I will only reinvest in PVR if and when Barryroe is farmed out. GLA, GD | greatfull dead
22/9/2017 19:18 | This is somewhat out of date (Feb 2017) but they mention that although the well is planned for 2018, it could easily be postponed till 2019 or 20. I think Nexen is really the only firm one to look forward to. | rogerlin
22/9/2017 16:32 | The Woodside one does look interesting actually. IMHO. | dunderheed
22/9/2017 15:07 | oops = Nexen is CNOOCs subsidiary but Woodside have one planned for 2019. | jusmasel99
22/9/2017 14:09 | 5706: That'll be great so maybe in about five years we can get some more corporate action on 'our' blocks! | dunderheed
22/9/2017 13:55 | And another well to be drilled in the Porcupine next year by CNOOC testing a similar structure to PVRs Diablo. | jusmasel99
22/9/2017 13:38 | agree there, wressle is probably more valuable today than it was when deal done | currypasty
22/9/2017 13:35 | No idea what UPL are up to but worth remembering we are their partners in Hardstoft as well. No harm in waiting I suppose until or if a better investment appears. To be honest I would be delighted if they backed out. More production now would be really good and of course since the deal was done the OP has risen and by all accounts is likely to continue to rise. News from Nexen .. tender out for rig in the Porcupine next summer! hxxps://achilles.com | jusmasel99
22/9/2017 13:04 | are UPL going to go through with the Wressle deal or not.. surely getting time for them to decide? | currypasty
22/9/2017 10:28 | Well here's a thought ... the ANGS RNS this morning reveals for the first time that they want to put in place a generating plant as part of their FDP proposal to the OGA. I had considered that they may be thinking about a standard petrol or diesel plant that they have planning permission for AND which is mentioned in the RNS. But if that were the case then they wouldn't need OGA approval so I have to assume it must be gas driven. But they have never mentioned gas at Brockham so I assume it is part of the sidetrack that they haven't released information about. A lot of BUTS here.. but if it is gas then they definitely need EA approval maybe not SCC approval because you can put a gas generator in a building that already has planning permission. I do hope they haven't been trying to pull the wool over SCC planners ... | jusmasel99
22/9/2017 10:26 | I'm a bit nervous for Angus and sold on the 10th August as latest FOI request of a letter from SCC to the OGA revealed the extent of their difficulties with Brockham approval. I can see though that their position re. BRX4-Z can be defended. Probably the less said now in an RNS the better, as this might go to court. Seems they prefer to use their web-site to comment on Brockham rather than through an RNS (I wonder if this is for legal reasons). Someone like me looking from the outside needs to make a judgement whether the OGA is still going to approve Brockham or not and decided the risks were too great. | itsriskythat
22/9/2017 09:57 | I cant understand why angs haven't fessed up about their planning issues | currypasty
22/9/2017 09:21 | Thanks for the post from N Lincs Council. I think Upland Resources board is due to decide by the end of the month whether to wait any longer for Wressle approval or look for something else (with some momentum behind it). Their decision is going to be a barometer of whether Egdon feels confident or not. | itsriskythat
22/9/2017 09:06 | Back to Wressle .. the North Lincs Council have published their response to the appeal They are basically arguing against their own planning officer who you would assume knows more about planning than them. They have of course made it sound very plausible but there are some very laughable statements in there including the fact that they are going try and vindicate the councillors who suggested they doubted the Environmental Agency ability. I would presume that we will call the Environmental Agency as a witness so good luck to NELincs on that score. Also they have omitted some stuff that I am sure Egdon will nail them on. Looking very good and I continue to wonder why NELincs is even bothering to spend so much money on countering an appeal that is bound to be granted. | jusmasel99
21/9/2017 10:45 | Snakes and ladders brings to mind life in general. It has its ups and downs too. GLA, GD | greatfull dead |
