07/10/2017 10:39 | Yes I'm amazed at UKOG valuation. I certainly would have sold by now. Good thing with EOG is we have such a nice diverse portfolio. News flow is reasonable. Decent management. Not going to set the world alight but it could return a 4 or more bagger fairly soon.IMHO | guesswhosback
07/10/2017 10:17 | Yes ukog mv very high and it could all come crashing down. But hey ho that's investing. Suet | suetballs
07/10/2017 10:05 | A 4 bagger here wouldn't make our Market Cap anything like the others. I cannot remember the UKOG and ANGS market caps. Something rediculouse on Kimmerage find. | guesswhosback
07/10/2017 09:41 | Been here a fair while so a 4 bagger would do nicely. More confident here than with my recent purchase of ukog! Also recently had a few in cne where I like the prospects. Suet | suetballs
07/10/2017 09:05 | That's great news. Time to reap some rewards here | guesswhosback
07/10/2017 08:30 | Leith Hill Action Group (LHAG): Make the following comments – a. The use of aluminium trackway is welcome and will bring a significant reduction in HGV movements during site construction and reinstatement phases !! No problems with the cafe any more - I heard that the protestors had threatened the owner... Communications by satellite phone - can't really object to that. Let's go for Holmwood drilling in November which was always my forecast after the leaves are off the trees. The potential is that Holmwood will deliver far more than Brockham and Lidsey combined so clearly a rerate up to Angus levels is on the cards .. that would be a 4 bagger at least and by the time it is drilling we may have news from the Wressle appeal. Exciting times ahead for EOG at last! The drill bit turning in the Weald will bring us much attention... | jusmasel99
06/10/2017 19:27 | The agenda for the planning meeting on the 18th has now been published and the planning officer is recommending permission still. The application appears to answer all of the previous issues raised in August so hopefully this time no further hold ups! | cheek212

05/10/2017 19:45 | are we expecting an rns tomorrow? | ducatiman
04/10/2017 15:22 | I can't imagine it is - more to do with folk moving into ANGS again on rumours. Scottish ban is so ludicrous - we need a successful businessman running this country rather than politicians. Mmmm. Let me think about that? With hindsight and current experience in the USA maybe not. The SNP mentioned the danger to groundwater as one of the reasons for the ban. Well if they spared the briefest minute to research they would find that NONE ... not one IOTA of groundwater forms part of the public water supply in Scotland it is all surface water of which we have rather a lot of. Probably one of the safest countries in the world to frack in.... | jusmasel99
04/10/2017 10:03 | could the markdown this morning be the Scottish frack ban? Doesn't affect us, but MM's don't need much of an excuse | currypasty
03/10/2017 06:51 | Hope our results are out soon .. time to show the Weald investors that EOG is the best risk free investment because of our Holmwood prospect and massively undervalued compared to the likes of ANGS and UKOG... | jusmasel99
29/9/2017 15:05 | angs doing well again | currypasty
29/9/2017 11:29 | Before that though our results next week and a reminder to those aboard for our Weald play at Holmwood that we already have production and at todays OP are more than likely in profit. | jusmasel99
29/9/2017 11:14 | about time interest was returning here.. Holmwood planning meeting in a fortnight | currypasty
27/9/2017 06:37 | Our final results are due soon. We stand apart from UKOG, ANGS etc because not only do we have significant income but also reduced admin costs. Well worth a comparison if you are interested in researching it. My expectation for this year is production of about 110bpd at an average of $50 at $1.3 to the pound giving Sales of about £2m. Our admin costs may well remain the same given that I expect Head Office remuneration to be restored to their original levels (they all took a drop in salary as the OP drop took effect ) which may be countered by some income attributable to our role as operator at Holmwood and being fully covered for costs. We may therefore record a small operating profit. Such a shame that we cannot report production from Wressle yet - although as the oil is still in the ground and the OP has risen we stand to gain eventually. | jusmasel99
26/9/2017 23:49 | From 25th Sept RNS UKOG Stephen Sanderson, UKOG's Executive Chairman, commented: "This acquisition is another step in UKOG's strategy to further consolidate and increase its holdings in the Kimmeridge oil play. The forthcoming Holmwood well provides a valuable near-term opportunity to test a geological look-alike of both our Broadford Bridge and Horse Hill oil discoveries, and which can hopefully provide further proof of the new Kimmeridge play concept. The significant overlying Portland target also provides additional low-risk potential reserve upside. We look forward to the well's spud in the coming winter and the valuable information it will provide for our quest to monetise the Company's Kimmeridge and Portland oil." Will the rig go here next ? | kwizza
26/9/2017 19:50 | Gents What is the latest on the HoLmwood well? I thought that was planned for H2 2017. TIA | brasso3
26/9/2017 15:45 | Steve Staley, Upland Resources Limited CEO, said: "We believe that Wressle is an excellent asset and that a stake in it will produce substantial revenue for Upland in the near future. This revised deal with Europa Oil & Gas allows us time to see the results of the planning appeals that are only a few weeks away. The format of the appeals is very different to the planning decisions made by North Lincolnshire Council - the appeals take prior written dispositions which are subject to proper scrutiny and cross examination and they are held within a well-constrained framework and timeframe. Hence this is a process in which the Planning Inspectorate will now consider and act on the facts - efficiently and objectively. Given the strong case of the Wressle co-licensees, we believe these appeals stand a very good chance of success, especially as North Lincolnshire Council's own planning officers recommended approval. If, however, they are not successful Upland will have not paid for the stakes in PEDLs 180 and 182. | jusmasel99
