18/10/2017 10:56 | Are the matters being discussed in relation to EGO's application just MO2017/091 or does it include MO2016/1563? | immy1992

18/10/2017 10:18 | no doubt the protesters all arrived in their cars, leaving a centrally heated home, wearing oil derived materials for clothes and shoes, and thinking electric cars are the way forward as they don't pollute, and get power from heaven | currypasty

18/10/2017 07:49 | Good lad Risky - any connection to the Risky that is making waves on Twitter? Immy yes it is available on the SCC website .. although given that UKOG are up after us I expect it to crash on overload... that is one of my most confident forecasts for today! ;-) | jusmasel99
18/10/2017 07:44 | is the webcast of the meeting available to public, if so anyone got a link? thanks | immy1992
18/10/2017 07:31 | Strewth Juusmasel99, you've woken up today in a positive mood. The reason Europa don't need a placing is that they just had one for £3.4m in May. On my way today to the meeting. | itsriskythat
18/10/2017 07:08 | We have been here before waiting for planning committees and today is no exception to the risk that they will come up with some obtuse reason to delay it again. BUT the key word is DELAY. It can only be a delay .. Holmwood will be drilled. Risk and reward. Buy this morning before the planning committee decision and the reward will be a re-rating of the share price in anticipation of the drill. As GD says 10p is likely. The flood of news following the decision will bring much attention to the disparity between our valuation and that of ANGS (I personally think UKOG is a separate case of the woven variety). Experience shows that the share price will drop if the committee goes against us probably back down to 6p BUT .. As long as our results aren't published today of all days then expect them to be published in the next day or two. This will show our current production and a much higher income from the rising OP than last year. (OP now up past $58) and that will bring our share price back up as well as offering a stark reminder to those in other Weald Basin shares that we are one company that does not require a placing as we have cash in the bank and fully covered on the Holmwood drill. Again if the committee goes against us expect immediate news that we will be re-submitting for the next planning committee date in November only 4 weeks away and again the share price will spike as we approach that date. So buy this morning at 7p and run the risk of losing 1p only to be fairly certain of recovering to that level on results and the following months planning committee meeting or wait and run the risk of having to pay 10p for a share that is likely to double to 20p and beyond as the Holmwood drill starts turning. Me? I am a long term holder and think I am safe in the knowledge that Holmwood will drill sooner or later regardless of planning committees as well as being very interested in our Irish prospects. (news today from PVR of continued interest from Total in the Porcupine) My shares are not for sale for less than 25p each and I am confident of achieving that in the medium term. | jusmasel99
17/10/2017 21:43 | I topped up at 6.1p earlier this morning while online and eating my breakfast in a hotel down south. IMHO Holmwood will get the necessary planning permission and the RNS may come tomorrow. Then we will see a really positive spike in the share price Possibly 10P+! Been driving on M1/M6 since 2 pm today got home 8.15pm made 2 stops for a coffee. Pleased with the share price finish today. Thanks for all the credible posts made here from when the market opened this morning. ATB, GD | greatfull dead
17/10/2017 19:56 | I dont think they will come here. They are so focused on UKOG's ups and downs they are in a spin. Ive been posting over there about our acreage but I just get seen off as a ramper. LOL. | guesswhosback
17/10/2017 19:29 | There seems to be some vibration in the ground today, surely the UKOG herd cannot be far off. | rogerlin
17/10/2017 15:40 | Let's just remind ourselves what a no brainer this is. Holmwood HAS planning permission. It WILL be drilled regardless of what happens tomorrow. Today is just a mere indication of what WILL happen when the conditions are approved. If not tomorrow then even more likely at the next meeting. Now there are some folk on here that tread warily when it comes to planning and I don't blame them given our spikey past. Bad news tomorrow will see a reaction and the share price will drop but that is just going to be another golden opportunity to buy more before the inevitable permission is granted and the drill bit starts turning. I may not be able hold an intelligent discussion with a geologist on the possibilities lying underground Leith Hill but as an investor I sure can foresee the future for this share price So tomorrow is a no lose situation. Good news and the planning averse investors will jump in, bad news and the weak will depart and the strong will pick up a bargain..... | jusmasel99
17/10/2017 15:06 | GWB, Well I'll be stunned if its not a Brockham lookalike on results. Clearly the KL is regional and substantial and is highly likely to stretch from Brockham to BB-1, it seems to get even more substantial down south when you read the comments from UKOG. Its perhaps likely that these thinner sections in our region of the basin will give better flow rates than BB-1 if HH-1 is anything to go by. I'm doing similar to UKOG management that classed BB-1 as a step out well, I'm classing the Holmwood KL as a step out to Brockham. I've a lump of these already so not going further in, but I'll be stunned if we don't have similar results to that Brockham well. The exploration side of this well will be the conventional sandstones that could be hit or miss even if this anticline lies above Kimmeridge source. I want to see live oil shows with pressure in the KL's at Holmwood as that turns a potential 10mmbbls conventional discovery into more like 100mmbbls+ regional stratigraphic discovery. Although both would be a welcome bonus. Regards, Ed. | edgein
17/10/2017 14:49 | Ed what's you feeling about the forthcoming Holmwood drill? It sounds positive given yesterday's RNS from UKOG? | guesswhosback |
