existing investing policy was duly passed.

I did not know that rule on AIM. But, surely, they need not reverse takeover - all they need to do is invest some cash?

I suspect one week is an exaggeration, but they do have to do something soon as under the AIM regs you can't remain a cash shell for more than a specified time - could be as little as one year now - hence the one week to the anniversary of the KAH sale perhaps (haven't checked the exact date!)...

A post on iii says.....Expect to see an RNS after the meeting saying that a new investment policy has been passed.
It goes on to say that they have one WEEK to execute a reverse takeover or face suspension from AIM. What is that all about then??????

Pip - also sold a few the other day @ prices between 2.75p & 2.82p - had 150k on offer @ 2.67p in my crosswires for 10secs this morning - but didn't press the button. Doh! Still, I have my core holding, so no probs...

Sold out the other day for a modest profit, decided to add today.
100000 at 2.645, showing as usual as a sell.
With the meeting due shortly on future investment policy best to be in I think.

The company declared a cash balance of £9.64m as at 30th Nov 2010.

Would I be correct in assuming the company got their $500,000 option premium back when they sold the option for $100,000 profit.

If so, would it be reasonable to assume cash balance post 15th December 2010 would have been iro £9.64m + $600,000 (£378,812 as at 15/12/10) = ~£10.02m

* Subsequent events

On the 12 November 2010 the Company announced that it had contracted for the
physical delivery of 25,000lbs of triuranium octocide ("U3O8") and had entered
into an option agreement for the physical delivery of a further 200,000lbs
U3O8.

The physical delivery contract was priced at US$58.00 for each pound of U3O8
delivered and was in respect of 25,000lbs U3O8. Delivery to a conversion
facility in Canada is due on 17 January 2011 with cash payment (equivalent to GBP
898,723 at GBP/$ 1.6134) by no later than 18 January 2011.

The option contract is in respect of 200,000lbs U3O8 for physical delivery by
book transfer at a designated facility and expires on 31 January 2011. An
option premium of US$500,000 (equivalent to GBP309,905 at GBP/$ 1.6134) was paid on
17 November 2010 and the additional option strike price is US$59.00 per pound
U3O8, or a total US$11,800,000 (equivalent to GBP7,313,747 at GBP/$ 1.6134).

Due to the U308 market stalling faster than anticipated due to year end profit
taking the Director's made the decision to sell the above mentioned options on
the 30 November 2010 at a bid price of US$3.00 for settlement on the 15
December 2010 generating a net US$100,000 profit on the sale.

I sold out the other day for a modest profit but I do like their proposals for the future so I`m back in for a few although it`s showing as a sell.
Paid 2.46p which was reasonable.

I see this as good news, but then I'm an investor rather than a short-term trader. Just be patient and take comfort from the duo's fantastic deal-making record.

With an share price of 2.40p-2.42p EML stand at an 11% discount to cash. As a small cash shell with management of this stature, a 100% premium could easily be justified. So Barry, if you're sitting on a loss - just average down!

they should have announced this intention to expand their investment criteria with the results on 24/12 instead of 'sitting on their hands' for 3 months since when the share price has fallen 30%.
i don't think anyone cares what they invest in as long as it leads to increased shareholder value and unfortunately we now know that nothing is gonna happen until sometime after 8th April.
as i've said, Dattels and Mellon far to busy looking after their other interests.
