21/3/2011 10:34 | Thanks so a profit taken and no exposure at all then, okey dokey then. | envirovision
20/3/2011 18:59 | "On the 12th November 2010, the Company announced that it had contracted for the physical delivery of 25,000 lbs triuranium octocide ("U3O8") and had entered into an option agreement for the physical delivery of a further 200,000 lbs U3O8. "The physical delivery contract is priced at US$58.00 for each pound of U3O8 delivered and is in respect of 25,000 lbs of U3O8. Delivery to a conversion facility in Canada is due on 17th January 2011 with cash payment (equivalent to GBP898,723 at GBP/US$1.6134) by no later than 18th January 2011. "The option contract is in respect of 200,000 lbs U3O8 for physical delivery by book transfer at a designated facility and expires on 31st January 2011. An option premium of US$500,000 (equivalent to GBP309,905 at GBP/US$ 1.6134) was paid on the 17th November 2010 and the additional option strike price is US$59.00 per pound U3O8, or a total US$11,800,000 (equivalent to GBP7,313,747 at GBP/US$ 1.6134). "The Director's [sic] made the decision to sell the option in respect of 200,000 lbs of U3O8 on the 30th November 2010 at a bid price of US$3.00 for settlement on the 15th December 2010, generating a net US$100,000 profit on the sale." | zangdook
20/3/2011 09:23 | Did they not buy a basket full of uranium contracts with the intention to keep for delivery about now? If so these are going to be worth very little now. | envirovision
20/3/2011 08:14 | and maybe recent events will further delay any investment decisions which inevitably will mean the share price will continue to tick down. very disappointing. | kerrie3
18/3/2011 23:53 | well the money in the bank is doing nothing for the share price as during the time its sat in the bank the share price has fallen 40%! | hoveactually
18/3/2011 14:09 | does money come any cheaper?... If so, let me know where. | hemehem
18/3/2011 13:57 | Topped up again at 2.42,My buy is showing as a sell. | monet
17/3/2011 11:08 | well the only consolation for doing nothing for so long is that they have not made another big uranium investment because certainly short term that would have taken a hammering. given Dattels and Mellons active involvement elsewhere, i still believe they would be better off accepting an all share offer fro POL worth maybe 3p a share. | kerrie3
16/3/2011 08:54 | Seems as though we will have lost the small profit on our U308 investment as the price has retraced back to just above cost. Perhaps they took the turn before last week's tragedy. In the light of events I think we can consider ourselves lucky that we weren't committed to a larger Uranium investment; though it could well be that more affordable opportunities will now arise. The World needs nuclear power - China alone is committed to a vast expansion in the global number of nuclear power stations. So whilst Germany & Switzerland might bend the knee to the green cause, the rest of the World has no option. Still, if no deals emerge, I expect the duo to liquidate or to bid for EML via POL or somesuch. Either way we will get our NAV in CASH by the end of the year. IMO that is the worst possible outcome - more likely is another deal... | skyship
16/3/2011 08:34 | Thanks for your reply Skyship, just waiting now for the action if it ever comes. Cheers. | pip_uk
16/3/2011 07:49 | Badtime - the ADVFN trades are consistently incorrect here. The apparent spread when I bt @ 2.4025p was 2.4p-2.6p. Unfortunately I don't have L2 so unable to see the true bid/offer size. | skyship
16/3/2011 02:35 | anyone going to Master investor? mellons doing a speech there. | hemehem
15/3/2011 23:35 | u ddi well then sky..those offer/bid quotes r wrong then. | badtime
15/3/2011 23:12 | Only issue at the mo is Mellons pre-occupation elsewhere in his holdings. | timtom2
15/3/2011 17:18 | Hi Pip......two weeks ago I bt a few @ 2.56p on that brief downspike. Sold a few days later @ 2.81p; then bought again @ 2.4025p today. It can never be wrong buying CASH at a discount. CASH NAV c.2.73p at the moment. The duos renowned deal-making skills in for free. | skyship
15/3/2011 15:01 | I agree totally with that hehehem and I have taken the plunge. The cash value must be above the share price at present. Where are you "Skyship" this is waiting for your input. It`s been a long wait for some action. | pip_uk
15/3/2011 10:37 | If they can't pick up a bargain in this onslaught, they never will. | hemehem
10/3/2011 11:34 | May be waiting for the commodity side to pull-back on slowing China. Too many things are "just right" just now. Something is bound to go wrong and give a bargain buy opportunity. Outside of that I expect a Rare Earth move of some type, some time. | timtom2
07/3/2011 13:13 | Peanuts compared to mktcap | hemehem
07/3/2011 08:38 | Looks as though we're up c.£160k on our U308 investment - every little bit helps. | skyship
06/3/2011 12:55 | well you need the patience of Jobe here, there has been no news of any kind for months. just what are they doing with all the cash apart from sitting back and watching the share price drift downwards week after week. Skyship you may be right (your post 1316)but its already retraced 35% since early December so an early Investment RNS is now critical in reversing this trend. | kerrie3
04/3/2011 10:07 | lol yes thats probably happened to all of us at some point. | hemehem
04/3/2011 00:28 | I see the company still appears not to be open for business. the only reason i have retained my holding is that 'sods law' says directly i sell a stonking investment RNS will be released. | hoveactually
02/3/2011 23:41 | Still no purchases? Cmon Dattlon! | hemehem |
