It's clear the French strike is hurtful however these ATC workers are losing the battle. Last year they tried regular one day strikes , now trying a longer one , which won't work . It's hurting French flyers more than anyone , public support in France will be lost with this strategy

doesn't have a clue about the cyclicality of the aviation sector.
a greenhorn with absolutely zero sector experience. spouts nonsense and drivel 24/7.
can't even begin to comprehend how such an appalling operating environment negatively impacts all operators in the sector.
thinks that Storm Doris and a five day French ATC strike are business as usual with no financial impact on the sector.
doesn't begin to grasp what lower revenues per seat across the sector means financially nor has the foggiest clue about how damaging an industry-wide price war can be for the sector.

Kepler Cheuvreux has upgraded budget airline easyJet to ‘buy’ from ‘hold’, lifted the price target to 1,106p from 1,053p and included it as a most preferred stock in the sector.

Rather foolishly he seems to think that this is a once in a lifetime French strike !


QuePassa these things (strikes, bad weather etc) happen on a pretty regular basis and they impact all airlines.


Things are that bad that EasyJet shares are currently trading UP 15p that's how bad it is.

According to Flightaware stats at 09.22hrs today,there are 137 delays and 38 cancellations so far today for EasyJet.

Looks like the French ATC Strike is impacting.

The facts and figures don't lie.


Even the most pessimistic of shorters will have to face up to the fact that month by month the figures from EasyJet are getting better and better.


The shorters are losing money on a daily basis having had their chance a few weeks to get out with a profit. Greed appears to have got the better of them ;-)
