30/1/2006 13:15 | I like the latest news on the D&D website News DEC 2005 - WE'RE KNACKERED AND WILL BE DRUNK TIL XMAS - PLEASE CALL BACK LATER ! | garysmith7
30/1/2006 13:11 | Interesting article... "There is a growing realization by content producers, distributors and buyers that they will able to generate more revenue across a spectrum of wireless digital broadband devices and platforms than has ever been possible in an advertising-dependen "The mass-market acceptance of broadband in the U.S. has tipped the scales back to content producers and packagers, with the proliferation of distributors diluting the de facto gatekeeper strength of television stations, cable and satellite systems, cellular and video telephones, personal digital assistants, personal media players and Internet service providers. That should theoretically boost the economic fortunes of content players, though much will depend on the details of new business models and prevailing of old business models." | garysmith7
30/1/2006 11:37 | Great logo that Done and Dusted have, and had to laugh reading the profile of Simon Pizey on the D&D website re ability to sell a bluff and running into trouble in HK, but MM where did you read about DE % shareholding to increase? | jabberstocky
29/1/2006 22:11 | Michael: Excellent post with regards to shareholder interests and good news about DE.... | investorjon
29/1/2006 22:07 | Hi Ink, I've been away from the PC. I'm a bit busy at the mo so this is a short post. D&D looks a great company and I can see how it fits in with the new strategy. I do wonder if they have bitten of more than they can chew as integrating three creative companies all at once will take some skill. It raises lots of questions in all sorts of areas so it's going to be interesting to see how it all pans out. The main thing for shareholders is these aquisitions are seen to have a positive impact quickly and start to make announcements that move the price north. A weak shareprice means raising money for further aqusitions is more difficult and we get diluted to kingdom come. | garysmith7
29/1/2006 17:52 | Is Gary away at the moment? No posts from him since the announcement!! | inkitin

29/1/2006 16:25 | Michael I, and possibly most others on here, hold their shares in nominee accounts. I find that it takes a few days for such documents to make their way through to me, as the Broker has to post them on. Interesting to see your "highlights" of the documents though, thanks for that. The only fact that has kept me in this share of late is the involvement of DE. At the start of DEs involvement, and recognising his "big hitter" status within the industry, I couldn't reconcile his decision to be involved in this relatively "two bit Company" other than that he saw great potential under his guidance. In common with others I think the effects of his involvement are now there for all to see. Whether that potential is realised is another matter but at least the building blocks for it are appearing. Taking the Company more mainstream seems to be the strategy allied with the retention of rights issue. Let's hope it all works as they obviously think it will. Best Regards Inkitin | inkitin
29/1/2006 14:56 | Finally from me. Following admission of the new shares there may be an RNS indicating that 3 directors have increased their holdings. Total value (given 0.0065p purchase price?) will be £111,442. This should have a positive effect on the share price Good luck. | michaelmouse
29/1/2006 14:26 | Some key sentences that caught my eye include:- "As well as relationships with artists, broadcasters and record labels they(Done and Dusted) have also developed strong ties to some of the biggest brands that work in this area including Microsoft, Coors, Adidas and Lever Faberge". "Done and Dusted has also identified a significant growth opportunity for its core production and staging business in the US marketplace". "The directors of Done and Dusted are also actively investigating the opportunities in the rapidly expanding 3G market place following a successful collaboration with Robbie Williams and T-Mobil in Germany". Current trading and prospects:- "The process of integrating the operations of the Company, Box TV and NBD Television has commenced and the Company continues to operate in line with Directors' expectations". "The Directors believe that the prospects for the distribution business are strong.....". You can hear a pin drop on this BB hasn't anybody else received their documents? | michaelmouse

28/1/2006 14:30 | Done and dusted's accounts are impressive. Following a loss in 2002, earnings per share leapt by 1109% in 03/04 and a further 100% in 04/05. Cash has increased from -£353,862 to £544,990 between 03 and 04. Shareholder funds have increased from -£44,516 to £573,287 over the same period. They carry no long term debt. Impressive growth by any standards. Box TV accounts are less impressive - 2002 loss £327,000, 2003 profit £1,422,000 and 2005 loss £854,000 (17 months). NBD group 03 and 04 losses of £62,000 and £52,000 respectively. Profit of £103,000 in 2005. Overall, looks interesting/exciting Hunt owns 3.86% of issued share capital. Hasn't increased his holding. Elstein's holding will increase from 1,250,000 to 16,630,000 (0.56% of the enlarged share capital). Excellent. Largest holding by a director will be S Pizey with 9.55%, J Thomson-Glover will hold 4.8%. In total the directors hold approx. 22%. Shareholders should already have this information. As ever DYOR. | michaelmouse

27/1/2006 20:24 | Thanks for your advice Jon I'am going to watch what happens monday before dipping my toes.More interesting events today can only be good for the company as a whole????!!!!!!!!!!! | geekeg
27/1/2006 20:23 | bonof - the answer is no. If all shareholders were included it would be described as a placing and open offer. This is not the case. Interestingly, I am sure we have all observed that recent positive newsflow has caused the share price to rise only to fall back later. I recently read that the end of bear phase is characterised by this very behaviour. It would seem to make sense since most investors are slow to react to the change in a company's circumstances, others take the opportunity to exit on any small rise and most await a clear signal for the return to an upward trend. Of course we shall see over the forthcoming months. Personally I just believe that since IJ and I suddenly see eye to eye something must happen one way or the other. Thanks for the website Inkitin. | michaelmouse
