to be fair, either Metal Tiger are complete and utter plonkers backing this doggie, or something will change here for the better.....like proper governance / control over the expenditure on "general working capital" for the benefit of all investors. We shall see! The bizarre thing is that the RNS made not one mention of building a mine so clearly that projection is out the window. Someone from Metal Tiger may have convinced the old Prof that he will need more than £1mn for this aspect of the plan.

a newbie! LOL! look forward to reading about their salaries and remuneration packages......and don't forget to compare that amount with expenditure on operational matters....

I am surprised that Metal Tiger got involved but then, they are not the first to be taken in by the 'gentlemanly' Richard Conroy.

okay,

how far do you think a measly 1m will go?
Not far after salaries, etc. are paid and any existing loans that may have been made by directors are repaid.
Whatever is left will have to prove up high grade results to change sentiment here and, imo, I doubt they will get them.

Maybe Metal Tiger will make them finally get on with something - we can but hope.

lifestyle operation.....they must all be laughing about the ease with which they have managed to finance their lifestyles from this and KDR........should actually be a case for the authorities imo....but hey..

If the product really is there KevJones it would be better in the hands of someone who would actually create some wealth from it. Conroy just hasn't delivered. I think the guy means well but CGNR and KDR are just vehicles for his hobbies, and his hobbies happen to look after him rather well.

Unlikely to be the bottom as a placing is due soon IMHO.

So they've downgraded the combined resource potential? They used to talk about 3-5Moz for Clontibret and another 5Moz for Clay Lake. Of course all these figures are conceptual nonsense. It just confirms what I've previously said. They've simply taken the unrepresentative resource at Clontibret and projected it under the remaining gold-in-soil anomalies, despite the fact that drilling at other locations has never matched the high grade core found at Clontibret. Disingenuous at best.

Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc

("Conroy" or "the Company")

TARGETING 5 MILLION OZ OF GOLD AT CLAY LAKE - CLONTIBRET

* Clay Lake and Clontibret Targets To Be Combined
* Clontibret Over 0.6 million Oz Of Gold (JORC Compliant) Previously
Established
* Clay Lake Gold Anomaly Now Extends Over 200 Hectares (c500 acres)
* Exploration Target Of 5 Million Oz Of Gold is Conceptual in Nature

Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc (AIM: CGNR, ESM: CGNR.I), the gold
exploration and development company focused on Ireland and Finland, is pleased
to announce that a quantitative risk assessment by independent consulting
geologist, Professor Garth Earls, has established a combined Exploration Target
of 5 million oz of gold at the Company's adjacent Clay Lake and Clontibret gold
targets.

A JORC compliant resource of over 0.6 million oz Au, using a minimum mining
width of 2 metres and a cutoff grade 0.6 g/t Au has already been established on
20% of the geochemical target at Clontibret. The mineralisation at Clontibret
remains open along strike, at depth and over the remaining 80% of the
geochemical target area.

The adjacent Clay Lake geochemical target has recently been shown to be
approximately 3km in length, up to 2km in width and to have a surface area of
over 200 hectares (c500 acres). The results of structural studies and wide
zones of gold mineralisation already reported indicate the potential for high
tonnage and overall gold content at Clay Lake.

This Exploration Target of 5 million oz of gold is, however, conceptual in
nature as the combined Clay Lake and Clontibret target requires further
drilling and there can be no certainty that future resource estimates for the
project will achieve the Exploration Target.

This release has been approved by Kevin McNulty PGeo, who is a member of the
Company's technical staff who holds a BSc/MSc in Geology and Remote Sensing, in
accordance with the guidance note for Mining, Oil & Gas Companies issued by the
London Stock Exchange in respect of AIM Companies, which outlines standards of
disclosure for mineral projects.

Professor Richard Conroy, Chairman commented:

"The establishment of a combined exploration target of 5 million oz of gold at
Clay Lake - Clontibret is a major step forward for the Company, at a time when
the price of gold is also rising again".

FCA have paid lots out because of certain brokers talking people into buying this and not informing them of the dangers and not telling of the only chance to make money in the region of a chance in a 100. The particular brokers concerned were getting 25% plus on the floatation and not mentioning the fact.

Lost about 99% of its floatation value.
