02/12/2015 23:07 | Anybody who invests now at this market cap must clean up on jv.We are talking a market cap of 2 million when it must surely be worth many, many times that. | newprom
02/12/2015 23:03 | So there we have it.Cynical who believes the cgnr board will be "laughing" if they take the company private at the same time as saying the company has no future and is worthless. He cannot see this is a complete contradiction !!...And then we have Craffert..who openly states that on jv a low market cap is bad for shareholders!!! Wow, these two really have no idea!! ..makes you wonder what goes on in their tiny minds...to come out with such absolute rubbish!!! | newprom
02/12/2015 23:02 | so if something holds a mcap of say £1.6m like this, a JV company would pump in the perhaps needed £20m or so to develop the feasibility of a mine but only maybe want a 30% share? Sorry but I doubt that very much. Wait while they consolidate, get down to a market cap of c £400k and then offer a couple of million for the lot. | keya5000
02/12/2015 22:53 | Craffert.Your statement"Even if a jv was on the cards, the market cap here means that existing shareholders will be swamped" is completely nuts!!!! ....A low market cap puts existing shareholders in a fantastic position on jv....the lower the market cap the higher the gain!!!!.....Just an example of your flawed thinking ...Please explain how it could be any other way? | newprom
02/12/2015 21:19 | the definition of nuts is continuing to argue that something is going to work out when all the evidence points to it having virtually no prospects, no future, and an equity price which now clearly spells WIPE OUT. Even if a JV was on the cards, the market cap here means that existing shareholders will be swamped. The Prof himself is the funder of last resort. If he decided to put €5mn in as an unsecured convertible loan, zero coupon, with a commitment than it would only convert if the share price was > 10p then he would at least gain the respect of shareholders. Or he could just take it private for about half that and keep it in the family until the POG goes off on its next bull run. | craffert
02/12/2015 19:15 | Well all investors have been wiped out the equity is practically worthless ,so any remaining shareholders who still believe in a mine at clontibret are going to have to start again with fresh funds and the whole same process will start all over again, absolutely ducking unbelievable prof should be punished by the dreaded Ducking Stool ! | rbonnier
02/12/2015 13:53 | Cynical. The thing that is nuts is that you think the company has no prospects or future at the same time as you are saying the directors will be "laughing" by investing to take control. How can you say both things at the same time?.....completely nuts!!!! | newprom
02/12/2015 13:02 | should be an interesting AGM......but I bet it won't because shareholders like newprom/emmo/goldene | thecynical1
02/12/2015 11:46 | Shareholeeders just wiped out here absolutely disgusting | rbonnier
01/12/2015 15:44 | The last news on Clontibret was 3rd June, 6 months ago. Has anything happened since then? Final results are not news, just a requirement that they had to get out of the way and dreaming up the share consolidation is hardly a time consuming exercise. The prof needs to involve S Fitz now. What has been achieved in last 6 months? Where is the joint venture?Tick - Tock | goldeneye5
01/12/2015 12:37 | have the MMs got an order from someone to clear out a holding? someone just sold stock to the value of roughly 27 quid..........stunni | thecynical1
01/12/2015 09:25 | Craffert."Sanctimoni | newprom
30/11/2015 20:56 | I have no intention of re hashing the data for the umpteenth time which shows that the Prof is a significant net recipient of cash from this vehicle, and KDR. So wrapped up in your own self importance and judgement on CGNR in the face of the facts emmo1210. Your sanctimonious attitude will leave you the last man to turn off the lights at CGNR. | craffert
30/11/2015 11:39 | Perhaps he's a few million euro poorer since then with his continued support of the project and its development. Obviously not something you'd wish to acknowledge. Goes without saying. All this concern about local jobs. It's all Conroy's fault why nobody has a job. If he had thrown the towel in years it is a CERTAINTY that there would be even less people with jobs in the area and there be less potential for jobs in the area. Again, not something which I expect you to grasp. | emmo1210
28/11/2015 23:36 | I actually did Goldeneye. About 10 years ago. He's a few million euro richer since then thanks to loyal subscribers. | craffert
28/11/2015 16:01 | Ties to the license area is fair enough, however bashing the prof on a board is not the way to vent your frustration. There will be a mine in clontibret eventually. Who knows who will build it. If you are going to slate the prof, why not do it face to face, rather than on a board. | goldeneye5
28/11/2015 15:22 | as I've said many times....my family/roots are in the license area, and still live there. That's why I have such an interest. Is that allowed? I wish good things for anyone who can create jobs and economic success in the deprived S Armagh / N Monaghan area, where there is very little industry and few major employers. My annoyance is that this dead duck hasn't created one production job in twenty years and burned shareholders, while richly rewarding the primary promoter who pops up every few years to tell local newspapers that the area is on the brink of a gold mine. But it's always about 3 years away. At best that's misleading. At worst, it's AIM. | craffert
28/11/2015 11:32 | If anyone is to be accused of being obsessive it is the bulls; they continually indulge in fantasy. | 4marlin
28/11/2015 00:25 | Craffert, then why are you still posting here? If I thought a company was a dead duck, I wouldn't even check in! Yet you are ever present. Nobody is really looking at this stock, yet you still feel the need to "warn the public about Prof Conroy".mm! Its all a bit weird and obsessive. Sorry it's very weird. Maybe you have been badly burned here, I don't know. Either way, don't let it consume you. Life is too short. The share price here is virtually wiped, yet you continue to post.Question for Craffert, if you don't mind me askingDo you wish good things for this company now in 2015 and for the future? | goldeneye5
27/11/2015 21:57 | when i read newprom posts i also think bored. This company is a dead duck. | craffert
27/11/2015 09:47 | when I say board I am talking about the cgnr board not this board. | newprom
27/11/2015 09:23 | Cynical.Do I think this is a bargain share with great prospects? Yes....Do I think there is a concerted negative campaign on this board by people with supposedly no interest? Yes....Do I think the board deserves fair criticism? Yes very much so. | newprom
27/11/2015 08:14 | now you are starting to get it........ : ) | thecynical1
26/11/2015 22:09 | Latest rns suggests payback in 2 years which suggests lower cost of production and also the prof confirms a high level of profit on present gold price. This should be better explained so as to leave no doubt in peoples minds. But the statements saying that are there. | newprom |
