SP still below the peak of 7 pence reached about this time last year, after which it dropped to the year low of 1.5 pence (not that long ago).

Quite the rollercoaster, this share.

thanks , so by inference the next SENS / RNS should read ...
CoAL is pleased to announce that 100% acceptance by UC has been achieved and that all conditions , including the funding has been fulfilled and that CoAL now has an income generating asset with an ever increasing mpta since commissioned in 2013 and a ROM of around 20 years ,with existing binding off take contracts in place and a possible extended ROM. Some one please tell me whats not to love about this company ????

You would expect £150-£200m mcap post deal completion. Needs it to be comparable to peers.

i too believe strongly that this period is a window of opportunity to get in before it becomes a mid tier producer and a matter of time before it rivals Exxarro and the likes !

Deal could though likely drop at anytime prior.

does CoAL have to inform the market by this friday on its status regarding its UC proposition and if the 24th june is still the closing date , or judging from yesterdays SENS has this now been changed to august the 3rd by default based on the share issue to summer trees and hengshun zhongsheng taking place

Settled at 81, don't read anything into today's RNS unless they think deal done by 3-June which v bullish. Won't touch the sides when it happens!!Puzzling 3.50 offered in London all day but lots of trades going through above this.

very shortly i'm sure , it's really unlikely to go beyond June 2016 ! when CoAL acquires UC it will then progress from an exploration to a mid tier coal producer which should result in a re rating of the share price which means what ?

even if by some remote chance the date for UC is once again nudged further down the road , an increased acceptance of greater than 95% should be a positive driver ? Secondly once UC is in CoAL's stable and CoAL progresses from an exploration company to a MID TIER COAL PRODUCER ( in the words of our most revered leader Mr David Brown ) would this allow for an instant re - rating of our share price to that of a coal producing company ? bear in mind UC trades at around 4x our share price on the ASE . Mr Brown spoke of " quantum leaps " in the share price in 2014 for 2015 which he undoubtedly delivered when the share price went from 50c to 150c on the JSE in a short space of time in Q1 2015 only to retest and hover around the 50c level for the last 3 quarters , with the successful completion of UC , re-tracement should be something we are unlikely to encounter and the concept Quantum to be re defined , waiting in the isle to raise my hat to you Mr Brown
