Strange share performance since entering the 250. I would have thought in a thinly traded share, the funds buying this would push it up but it hasnt happened.

I was thinking along the same lines postiga08 bringinging into the sphere of a lot more people who previously would not have been interested. I was wondering if there might be a temptation to split the share price to make it more tempting to potential purchasers.

Promoted to FTSE250 effective today due to merger of Aviva and Friends Life.



Clarkson PLC (UK, 0201836) will be added to the index with a shares in issue total of 30,116,758 and an investability weighting of 82%.

All this oil is having to be stored on tankers - has to taker capacity out of the system and boost pricing imo.

Agreed EL, and not forgetting net cash position too.

Yes the industry is very competitive but CKN's reputation and scale have helped considerably over the last couple of years. The transformational acquisition is all the more helpful, imo.

Good company, steady increase in profits and dividend over the years. Very competitive industry but the recent acquisition should put the in good stead.
