30/11/2009 13:28 | I bought these in 2001 on their Jan trading statement - proved to be a great buy. Bought them ahead of the 2003 Jan trading statement - proved to be a great time again. I think these will be way higher by the Jan trading statement - what with directors buying and the Baltic Index I think that statement looks like being the most upbeat in some time. 30/11/2009 12:16 | yorgi, yes me too but there's buys going through on plus markets also: Trade Date Time Price Volume Type Consid. 30/11/2009 11:02:54 778.00 586 O 4,559.08 30/11/2009 09:36:40 778.00 725 O 5,640.50 30/11/2009 08:49:52 800.00 150 O 1,200.00 30/11/2009 08:24:19 780.00 1,000 O 7,800.00 and level 2 looks as if a few more buys will trigger a rise to 820/829 fairly quick. Anyway, still happy to hold long term and see people buying on a dip. | sruthan
30/11/2009 11:57 | Not huge volume but with directors recent buys I would have thought there would have been more interest here. | yorgi
27/11/2009 16:41 | I have to admit that it was James Faulkner that brought Clarkson to my attention but what was the deciding factor after reading his tip was the recent buys by director. Always a good sign when a director is prepared to put his own money in. Looks to me to be a good buy for the medium to long term | yorgi
27/11/2009 13:19 | A buy tip with analysis by James Faulkner: | foxnil
23/11/2009 08:31 | Quiet here. Added a wadge more this am - director added late Friday @ £8 too. Seen th Balic Chart? Making new recent highs. CR | cockneyrebel
16/11/2009 12:01 | Bouncing bang on the trend line. Baltic Dry Index rocketing - bought in today - 940p looks a decent target imo. CR | cockneyrebel
11/11/2009 18:54 | Daniel Stewart reiterated their 'Buy' recommendation today, with a target price of 981p. | welsheagle
09/11/2009 12:49 | BMS now moving up strongly | davebowler
06/11/2009 08:33 | Interesting : I found it quite difficult to read the statement but came to the conclusion that the underlying financial performance was sound, but that they're having to work hard for their money ! Also, price not helped by a Director sale. | bluebelle
05/11/2009 20:09 | Panmure Gordon reiterated their 'Buy' recommendation today, with a target price of 1000p. | welsheagle
21/10/2009 12:20 | Bouncing between the Bid and the Ask on almost no volume. | bluebelle
19/10/2009 13:23 | Nothing in particular as far as I can see : probably a technical correction. It's all on low volume after a very strong run which this correction doesn't change : only two months ago today it closed at 658. A lot of the apparent fluctuation is caused simply by the spread which means that the price fluctuates by 25-30p depending on whether the last trade was a buy or a sell, pretty much regardless of volume. | bluebelle
19/10/2009 11:42 | A rising market worldwide - and this tumbles - wtf is going on? | future financier
25/9/2009 13:41 | On a slightly related topic; OCN Ocean WIlson is a holding co. with a major Brazilian shipping/port co. called Wilsons and a portfolio of shares managed by the Hansa I.T. fund manager Ocean Wilson STAKE in Wilson Holdings at R24.6 worth £347m approx Market cap of Ocean Wilson is £286m approx At 30 June 2009 Ocean Wilson additionally had £140m in cash and investments with no debt Since June those investments would have risen by at least 5% if they had lagged the FTSE so we could estimate NAV at £347m (Wilsons) plus £147m (Investments) = £494m putting Ocean's discount to NAV at a juicy (yet irritating for shareholders) 43% | davebowler
14/9/2009 12:35 | Unbelieveable rise here- currently in BMS and waiting that to follow CKN | sambessey
14/9/2009 10:57 | CKN still leading BMS | davebowler
11/9/2009 13:22 | Many thanks | bluebelle

11/9/2009 12:43 | Anyone seen the interim report. They say they have posted it to shareholders today (great idea given the postal strike !) but haven't been able to find it anywhere on line. | bluebelle
10/9/2009 14:55 | Since posting that BMS is up 4% so another 6% to go if it follows CKN ! | davebowler
09/9/2009 10:29 | This seems to lead BMS -which hasn't yet had the big jump that CKN has | davebowler
28/8/2009 18:51 | me to- nipped in in jan, good divi, and a keeper | redips2 |
